Even though our Pride Festivities were rescheduled or cancelled doesn't mean we don't celebrate! This week, I am taking you back to one of my favorite Prides... Philly 2018. This year it wasn't just about the LGBT, but also those families and friends that support us. Taped from the Gayborhood in Philly, I was joined by actor Peter Patrikios, as well as locals Allison and Jay to spread unity!Connect with us!Website: dwjphl.comFacebook: DWJPHILLYInstagram: drinkswithjessTwitter: DWJPHLHosted by: Jess BranasExecutive Producer: Jess Branas"Drinks with Jess" is a Branas Enterprises production.Distributed by: Be the Voice Podcast NetworkVisit us at: branasenterprises.comFollow us on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/TikTok: branasent

Jonny and Danette are joined by Vince and Beth to talk about the upcoming Southern Illinois Pride Fest on June 2 (technically, June 1-3, though the bulk of activities are on June 2). Vince covers youth activities and entertainment. Beth offers a glimpse at the political side of the festviities. We also check in on the status of SB 3249, the LGBTQ Inclusive Curriculum, that *might* pass the IL House in time to be awaiting the Governor's signature by the time we gather for Pride.
