He’s an NAIA Hall of Fame coach and longtime employee at APU, having spent nearly 65 years serving in a number of roles at the university. The Next Chapter with Jon Wallace: I spoke with Jen and James, two recent Azusa Pacific graduates who were part of the 2018 Ride for Water team. They spent 51 days cycling across the U.S. raising more than $85,000 to help support Charity:Water while also bringing awareness to the global water crisis. This is the sixth year of Ride for Water, which is completely student-run. I’m proud of what these students are doing to make a tangible difference in the world!

Mentoring has played an important part in both our lives. It allows us to walk together through life, supporting and challenging one another to be our best. I strongly believe everyone should have a mentor and seek opportunities to serve as a mentor. And when you enter into a mentoring conversation, you need to come with “preparation, humility, and three good questions.”
