The Pittsburgh Steelers are wrapping up their Top 30 Pre-Draft visits, and it begs the question if there are dots to connect between those who have come in and if they'll be selected in the 2026 NFL Draft? It feels like now more than ever it is important to find sources of information and reporting that are trustworthy. It used to be fairly easy: subscribe to a credible outlet and trust that said newspaper or magazine would have guardrails in place to get it right and to exercise fairness. As the internet and social media became the predominant sources we rely on, a lot of those guardrails were knocked down. It could be argued that the system in place now is more democratic. More wide open. More voices. But along the way the trust factor has taken a blow. That's why we wanted to talk to Ben Delaney. Ben came from the old school ways of cycling reporting. He got a degree in journalism. He got a job at a magazine. He did the work and made his way up. Like a lot of his colleagues, he also took his lumps as traditional outlets succumbed to the pressures of lower ad revenues and tighter budgets. After being let go more than once by Velo, Ben decided to go solo. These days you can find Ben making videos for his gravel focused "The Ride" YouTube channel. It's one of Josh's favorites, so much so that Silca supports the channel. "The Ride" is a great place to check the latest in dropbar, offroad tech and trends. But this interview is less about gear and much more about the landscape of cycling media. How it got to where it is and what it needs to keep its credibility.

Arsenio Hall grew up in Cleveland dreaming of being the next Johnny Carson – kind of. “I wanted to do this show that didn't exist when I was a kid, and I knew the talent was out there.” Hall spoke with Tonya Mosley about his groundbreaking talk show, ‘The Arsenio Hall Show,' and why he decided to end it, despite its massive success. Before he was a comic, producer and the “roastmaster,” Jeff Ross was a kid growing up in his family's kosher catering hall in New Jersey, serving weddings and bar mitzvahs. “My bar mitzvah was like something between a Super Bowl halftime show and like something Saddam Hussein would throw for one of his kids,” he tells Terry Gross. Ross shows his more vulnerable, introspective side in his new Netflix comedy special, ‘Take a Banana for the Ride.' Jake was sad during the show today after getting terrible news about a family member passing away. RIP to Jake's second cousin Detective Randy Hoppert who was hardworking, funny and generous, all things Jake is not. But we quickly discovered that Blind Charlie coming in-studio to shave Klein's head would make Jake feel a whole lot better, so that's the plan for Monday.. We also checked in with our new Coachella Camp correspondent Anthony, who only got 3 hours of sleep last night because his neighbors were fighting over drugs. Yay! We heard from Johnny too, who sounded like he was on drugs even though he wasn't. We pitched him several Coachella ideas to him, all of which involve Johnny being inconvenienced or humiliated. In other news, Klein has been watering a fake plant for the last year and he swears this does not make him an idiot. He even promised to bring in said fake plant to prove to us that we'd 'never be able to tell the difference.' Plus a chat about odd relationship rules, Johnny Doesn't Know: desert edition, and perhaps the weirdest & dumbest thing we've ever done for Coachella tickets.
The 2026 NFL Draft is now under two weeks away, and everyone is taking a guess as to what the Steelers will do in the draft. However, Mike McCarthy shed some light on what he likes at key positions, QB and WR, as his prototypes. With that in mind, time to check out prospects who fit that prototype. That's the topic on the latest "Let's Ride" podcast with host Jeff Hartman and Coach Kevin Smith on the Coach's Corner podcast. Jeff Krumpelman, chief investment strategist at Mariner Wealth Advisors, says that the economy is on solid grounds and that earnings expectations are up, which has prompted him to stand fast on the 7,700 target he put on the Standard & 500 entering the year, and he expects the market to bounce back hard once headlines ease up and investors get more clarity. Krumpelman says he expects the market to broaden out, but he says it will be a "RAD" year, for "risk awareness and diversification," noting that investors will want to get portfolios back to their asset allocation plans and diversify to avoid concentration risk. With the market kicking business-development companies in the teeth, John Cole Scott , president of CEF Advisors — and chairman of the Active Investment Company Alliance — grinds through his firm's "artificial-intelligence risk scoring" data to find BDCs that have been hurt by headlines without holding tainted portfolios. The result, he says, are two funds that have seen their valuations — but not their underlying portfolios — hurt by the headlines, making them underpriced value plays now. In the Market Call, James Abate, head of fundamental strategies for Horizon Investments — portfolio manager for the Centre Funds — is also looking for areas of the market that have solid long-term prospects but that are facing current disruptions.

DOPEYWOOD TICKETS: http://events.leapevents.com/event/dopeywood-2026 Patreon: www.patreon.com/dopeypodcast Dave tees up a Greatest Hits episode featuring Hasnie, a belly dancer turned first responder alcoholic with a wild, emotional story. Before that, we get a classic Dopey email about a reckless dealer named King who jumps out a window during a raid and later crashes a car doing whippets. Then shit gets real when Matt calls in mid-show ready to relapse. Dave and Ray talk him off the ledge in real time — and somehow even his dealers tell him not to use. Hasnie's story is intense: early chaos, booze, pills, sex, trauma, sending her kids away, and hitting bottom hard. She gets sober after a moment of clarity, goes to rehab, and finds her footing in Gay AA and SLAA. She rebuilds her life, gets her kids back (including rescuing her daughter from Ukraine during war), becomes a first responder, and stays sober through COVID and real-life trauma. Len Testa and Chris Cox take their case to the court as they debate whether Universal's Epic Universe Express Pass is worth the hefty price tag. With an upcoming family trip on the line, Chris weighs cost versus convenience, while Len breaks down the math, ride reliability, and real-world touring strategy. Along the way, they explore downtime issues, queue trade-offs, and whether a VIP tour might actually be the smarter splurge. In the end, even the court has to admit: this one's closer than it seems. HIGHLIGHTS • Express Pass pricing ranges from $210 to $360 per person, with per-ride costs that rival Disney's Lightning Lane Premier Pass • The biggest benefit: near-guaranteed ability to experience all major attractions in a single day with shorter waits • Major downside: high cost for families, especially when compared to adding an extra park day instead • Ride downtime at Epic Universe is משמעותי, with top attractions averaging 45 to 110 minutes of daily closures • Express Pass acts as “insurance” against breakdowns, reducing risk of missing headliner rides • Early entry plus Express Pass creates an optimal strategy for repeat rides and a more relaxed touring pace • Some experiences - including character meets like Toothless and select attractions - are not included in Express Pass • Queue theming may be partially skipped with Express, raising the question of whether guests miss key storytelling elements HOSTS • Jim Hill - IG: @JimHillMedia | X: @JimHillMedia | Website: JimHillMedia.com • Len Testa - IG: @len.testa | Website: touringplans.com • Chris Cox - IG: @magiccox | X: @bigcox | Website: magiccox.com FOLLOW • Facebook: JimHillMediaNews • Instagram: JimHillMedia • TikTok: JimHillMedia SUPPORT Support the show and access bonus episodes and additional content at Patreon.com/JimHillMedia. I got two full work days back this week. Not two hours — two days. Tasks I'd been doing manually, week after week, are now handled by AI workflows I built over the past few weeks. When I added it up, even I was surprised. Two days a week is 100 days a year. The tools are only getting better. But time recovered without a plan just disappears into longer meetings and extra emails. The real question isn't how to save time. It's what you'll build once you have it. Featured Story When the extra time first showed up, I didn't know what to do with myself. I'd finish for the day and just wander around the house. My wife asked what I was doing. I said I had no idea. I'd built these systems to give me time back, but I hadn't decided what the time was for. It hit me that time recovered without intention is just time lost differently. I had to stop, get clearheaded, and predecide what those hours were actually for. Ride the motorcycle, go fishing, build something new — but choose before the time evaporates. That shift changed everything about how I approach this. Important Points Two days a week is 100 days a year. Even if you start small, the compound savings will surprise you by Friday. Parkinson's law states that work expands to fill the available time. Without a deliberate plan, recovered hours just vanish. Stop engineering the machine and start building something with it. The tools don't create your freedom — intention does. Memorable Quotes "Time recovered without intention is just time lost differently. You have to predecide what that recovered time is for." "I got done at two in the afternoon, walking around the house with nothing to do. That's when the real question hit me." "The tools don't build things. People with intention build things. You get two days back, you decide what they're for." Scott's Three-Step Approach Track where your time goes this week. Rough estimates are fine — just notice what you're doing manually each day. Ask yourself one question: what would I build if I had two extra days every week? Write the answer down before it fades. Automate one mechanical task, protect the time you recover, and invest it in that answer. Compound it every single week. Big Chief takes you deep into the heart of Texas whiskey country with Jake Clements, the man behind one of the most authentic gatherings in the Lone Star State—the Texas Whiskey Festival. Set against the rugged, old west backdrop of Star Hill Ranch in Bee Cave, the 9th Annual Texas Whiskey Festival isn't just an event—it's a full-blown Texas whiskey family reunion. Weathered wood, dusty streets, and the spirit of independence set the tone as distillers and whiskey lovers come together for something real. Jake and the big man sit down and talk about what it takes to build a festival that brings together the best of Texas. This isn't about flash—it's about shaking hands, hearing the stories, and tasting what the Texas heat and grit can truly create. On this episode, they sip their way through a lineup that represents the backbone of Texas whiskey: • Garrison Brothers bringing bold, unapologetic Texas bourbon • Maverick Whiskey with deep roots and rich character • Ranger Creek delivering balance and craftsmanship • Andalusia Whiskey Co. pushing Texas single malt forward • And rising names like Jimmy's Bourbon adding fresh fire to the scene From grain to glass, this conversation is about more than whiskey—it's about community, legacy, and pride in what Texas is building. And this year, it all means a little more. The 9th Annual Texas Whiskey Festival proudly supports Frontline Heroes Outdoors, standing behind those who've served and sacrificed. Come join us on April 18th at Star Hill Ranch and experience Texas whiskey the way it was meant to be—handshakes, stories, and a glass in your hand. Get your tickets and learn more at: https://www.txwhiskeyfest.com This episode is a ride through dust, oak, fire, and Texas soul. Take the Ride with Big Chief. Cheers.

This week is moving fast. And if you're not anchored… it can pull you off center before you even realize it. There's a massive surge of forward-moving energy right now— and the pressure to act, decide, and move is real. But this week isn't asking you to go faster. It's asking you to stay in your seat while everything accelerates. IN THIS EPISODE, WE WALK THROUGH: – how to stay centered in high-fire energy – aligned action vs reactive movement – where you're still clinging to the old – and how to move with the future that's already pulling you forward If you've been feeling the intensity… this will help you walk it consciously. WORK WITH THIS WEEK’S ENERGY (Don't Just Think About It) This is the exact work we're doing inside BONES right now. Start with the Great Attractor (early week expansion) Then come back to Ride the Fire (stay in your seat + move in alignment) This is how you: – stay grounded – hold your center – and move without burning out Access BONES FOR THOSE FEELING A DEEPER SHIFT IN THEIR PATH There's another layer to this week. It's not just intensity— it's a shift in direction. You may be feeling it as questions like: – What am I actually called to now? – How do I work in this level of change? Because as everything accelerates, your calling can evolve with it. The way you serve. The way you create. The way your energy moves in the world. And sometimes you feel that shift… before you have clarity on what it's becoming. This is the space we're stepping into in Ibiza. A small, in-person Circle to reconnect to your gifts, clarify your path, and embody how you're meant to move now. You don't need to have it figured out. You just need to feel the call. Putting together the right toolkit can make all the difference when you're out riding—especially on an adventure bike, where help isn't always close by. We talk about how to build an efficient setup, from choosing what actually belongs in your kit to organizing it so it's easy to use when it matters most. The conversation covers how to prepare for unpredictable issues like flat tires, leaks, and bent or broken parts, along with the often-overlooked supplies that can save the day during a roadside or trailside repair. Along the way, Jim talks with Clinton Smout from SMART Performance Centre about building a toolkit around the jobs you're most likely to face, and we're joined by Matthew Kunz from Obsidian Adventure Gear to look at compact, bike-specific tool systems designed to keep you prepared without carrying half the garage.
Sixteen of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World enter the bracket… but only ONE can be crowned the ultimate champion. This week, Doug and Lauren go full March Madness as they debate the best ride in Disney World.

Travis Pastrana is a 17-time X Games gold medalist, multi-discipline motorsport champion, and the founder of Nitro Circus. He grew up in a Maryland construction family steeped in military service and contact sports, won his first outdoor national championship at 16, bought a house the same year, and has spent the decades since competing in everything from supercross to rally to NASCAR to base jumping. He has had two knee replacements, a hip replacement, over 30 concussions, and once turned 40 fractures across seven bones in his foot into dust on an X Games landing. We got into what it actually means to make decisions at speed — treating cliffs and trees like traffic cones when everyone else backs off. His Daytona 500 run. The NASCAR race where every teammate crashed out and his daughter read him the riot act for finishing 15th. What happened when a group from a certain Army unit showed up at his place and every single one of them landed a backflip on a dirt bike within two tries. The concussion research that found his brain operates differently than most. His seven-year-old daughter telling him she doesn't want to be the best at anything because the people chasing greatness don't seem happy. And the massive open-air wind tunnel he bought from a Mission Impossible set that he can't afford to power.
