When you are trying to predict the Pittsburgh Steelers 53-man roster, it is no easy task. Sure, there are players who are locks to make the roster, but those fringe positions could be taken by players currently not viewed as viable options. In other words, there are players who can steal a spot in 2026. To go through those players, join host Jeff Hartman on his Wednesday "Let's Ride" podcast, as well as the Mailbag Segment and the latest news surrounding the Steelers. Crashing is part of mountain biking but, how much do we really understand about what happens to the brain when we hit our head? On this episode of The Ride Companion, Davi and Olly are joined by HIT Recognition founder Euan Bowen and Sam Reynolds for an eye opening conversation about concussions, head impacts, brain health and the future of safety in MTB. Euan explains how HIT Recognition started as a university project inspired by concussion in rugby, before developing into a head impact monitoring platform now being used across mountain biking, rugby, motocross, ice hockey and more. Sam Reynolds also shares his personal experience with serious concussion, including the crash that left him unable to finish sentences, struggling with noise, forgetting words and wondering whether he would fully recover. He explains why having real data could have helped him make better decisions around competing and recovery. This conversation covers everything from MTB crash culture, to World Cup downhill practice loads, kids in bike parks, helmets, rotational forces, CTE, concussion symptoms, recovery, and why brain health might become as important as training load in action sports. Jim Lebenthal, Chief Market Strategist at Cerity Partners, joins Travis to share lessons from more than 25 years of managing investment portfolios and advising clients through every type of market environment. A former U.S. Navy submarine officer and regular CNBC contributor, Jim brings a unique perspective on investing, discipline, risk management, and human behavior. Drawing from his new book, How to Ride the Subway, he explains why successful investing often comes down to patience, trust, and resisting the urge to outsmart the market. On this episode we talk about: How Jim's early experiences investing shaped his career in wealth management Lessons learned from serving as a nuclear submarine officer in the U.S. Navy Why trust, empathy, and communication are essential in financial advising The dangers of market timing, day trading, and speculative investing Current market conditions, inflation concerns, and the future of major AI-driven IPOs Top 3 Takeaways Long-term investing consistently outperforms attempts to time the market, and missing just a handful of the market's best days can dramatically reduce returns. Successful financial advisors build trust through empathy, honesty, and consistent communication—not just investment performance. Speculation and gambling often masquerade as investing, but true wealth creation comes from patience, discipline, and owning quality assets over time. Notable Quotes "Trust is the currency of the financial advisory world." "The best days in the market almost always happen right next to the worst days." "Trading rapidly is a good way to lose money." This week on The Whiskey Trip, Big Chief sits down with Cody Stys from The Vaults at The Stanley Hotel, a one-of-a-kind whiskey destination located beneath one of Colorado's most famous historic hotels. The conversation begins with the rich history of the Stanley Hotel, which opened in 1909 and has become a landmark in the Rocky Mountains. The hotel is perhaps best known for inspiring Stephen King's novel The Shining. During a stay at the hotel in the 1970s, King found himself nearly alone in the massive property as it prepared to close for the season. The experience sparked the imagination that would lead to one of the most iconic horror stories ever written. While Stanley Kubrick's film adaptation wasn't filmed at the hotel, the Stanley remains forever connected to The Shining and attracts visitors from around the world who want to experience a piece of literary and cinematic history. Of course, this is The Whiskey Trip, so the guys quickly get down to business by pouring four outstanding single barrels selected by Cody. On the first half of the show, Big Chief and Cody sip on a Root Shoot Distillery Single Barrel and a The Heart Distillery Single Barrel, discussing the unique character of Colorado whiskey and the craftsmanship behind these exceptional picks. The second half features a Laws Four Grain Single Barrel and a Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Rye, delivering bold flavors, rich complexity, and plenty of conversation about what makes a great barrel selection stand out from the rest. Throughout the episode, Cody shares stories from The Vaults, insights into the barrel-picking process, and how the Stanley Hotel's history and atmosphere create an unforgettable experience for whiskey lovers. From historic hallways and ghost stories to world-class pours and good company, this episode captures everything that makes whiskey culture so special. Pour yourself something good, settle in, and enjoy the ride. Take the Ride with Big Chief.

Hello and sorry and welcome to Front End Chatter, and episode 222 of the motorcycling podcast that may (or may not) owe you an apology. That grovelling worm is Martin Fitz-Gibbons, and that recalcitrant rascal is Simon Hargreaves. Having spent several months avoiding facing up to the monster they unwittingly (in both senses) created, they're back with two hours of unrehearsed waffle about all things biking. As always they'd like to atone for their two-wheeled transgressions to Bennetts, Britain's best motorcycle insurers, represented on the interwebs by both BikeSocial (bikesocial.co.uk) and BikeClub (bikeclub.bennetts.co.uk) – between them a bewilderingly big bonanza of motorcycling news, product reviews, used bike buying guides, industry expert advice and so much more. In this contrite (but alas not concise) episode of Britain's best biking podcast, Simon and Mufga discuss: • Bikes for which manufacturers owe us an apology • Riding a Manx Norton (ah) followed by a Norton Manx R – read more in Bike magazine • BMW's R1300RS and Moto Guzzi's V100 Mandello S – read more in Bike magazine • Touring to Spa on BMW's ludicrous M1000XR – read more in RiDE magazine • How 'downgrading' tyres can improve a bike's ride and handling • What went on at the 2026 Isle of Man TT • Every biking engine layout, what they have in common, and which is best • Whether speed limiters ruin sports-tourers • The glory days of grey imports, and why they died out Thank you, one and all, for choosing to pour some Front End Chatter into your ears. Please keep sending your questions, thoughts, comments, wonderings and ponderings to anything@frontendchatter.com Until next time – whenever that may be...

At Six Flags, hang on to your crap when on a ride, cause you're not getting it back until the park closes. The park policy is that rides don't shut down to retrieve lost items. If you lose your phone, your glasses, your hat—tough toenails. You'll have to stick around to closing time if you want that item back. However, there was an exception to this policy. And what did this customer lose in mid ride that caused the ride to be shut down so that it could be retrieved? You'll find out in this episode of OK Boomer during my interview with a former member of the management team at Six Flags amusement park in Gurnee, Illinois. Lacie Mayer gives us an inside look at how things work at a business that can have up to 50,000 visitors in one day- and yes, she'll tell us what that customer lost on the Batman ride.
Meghna Maharishi discusses how strong demand from middle- and high-income consumers is sustaining travel, even as fuel costs climb, with premium and international trips driving growth for United Airlines (UAL) and Delta Air Lines (DAL). The collapse of Spirit Airlines (SAVE) is tightening capacity and boosting pricing power, while Southwest Airlines (LUV) adjusts its model to compete in a shifting industry landscape.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day.Subscribe to the Market Minute newsletter - https://schwabnetwork.com/subscribeDownload the iOS app - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/schwab-network/id1460719185Download the Amazon Fire Tv App - https://www.amazon.com/TD-Ameritrade-Network/dp/B07KRD76C7Watch on Sling - https://watch.sling.com/1/asset/191928615bd8d47686f94682aefaa007/watchWatch on Vizio - https://www.vizio.com/en/watchfreeplus-exploreWatch on DistroTV - https://www.distro.tv/live/schwab-network/Follow us on X – https://twitter.com/schwabnetworkFollow us on Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/schwabnetworkFollow us on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/schwab-network/About Schwab Network - https://schwabnetwork.com/about

In 2014, she took this knowledge public and now teaches brain-based horsemanship all over the world, in person, online, and in writing.Janet's newest book, A Horse's World, introduces the general public to these magnificent prey animals through the real-life narrative of her horse True North, as he progressed from a naïve colt to an adult horse who understands human expectations. Along the way, it offers new knowledge to scientists, equine professionals, and curious general readers about how horses think, feel, learn, interact, and connect with humans. In proposal form, A Horse's World became the object of a bidding war among eight top publishing houses in New York. All horsemanship rests on mutual interaction between horse and human brains. By understanding how our horses' brains work, and how their brains differ from ours, we can ride and handle horses more safelytrain more effectivelyimprove performance in all equine disciplinesprotect our animals' comfort and welfareencourage mutual trust between prey and predator speciesdevelop brain-to-brain communication between species, andcreate stronger horse-and-human teams. All horses and humans have brains and must use them regardless of discipline. For that reason, brain-based horsemanship is as relevant to Western riders as English, as important to headers and heelers or working draft breeds as to dressage champions, racehorses, Grand Prix jumpers, and backyard pasture ornaments. Anyone who works with horses should learn how equine and human brains work in tandem.Janet Jones earned her Ph.D. in cognitive science from UCLA and taught the neuroscience of perception, language, memory, and thought for 23 years. She trained horses at a large stable early in her career, and later ran a successful horse training business of her own. She has schooled hundreds of green or difficult horses, rides many breeds and disciplines, and has competed in hunter, jumper, halter, western riding, and reining. She uses the basic principles of dressage in all horse sports. Janet developed brain-based horsemanship and offers it to horse enthusiasts in Horse Brain, Human Brain. In her latest book, A Horse's World: A Neuroscientist's Journey Into the Equine Mind, she broadens her perspective to invite the general public to learn why some of us love horses so much.Subscribe To: The Plaid Horse MagazineTitle Sponsor: Taylor, Harris Insurance ServicesSponsors: Zoetis, Sentinel, Chewy and Mojo Joint Join us at an upcoming Plaidcast in Person live event!theplaidhorse.comThank you so much for joining us today on the Plaidcast. In a shocking revelation, a county in Colorado is using taxpayer money to fund a free ride-sharing program, but the numbers just don't add up. The speaker takes a closer look at the so-called "independent research" cited by the county to justify the program, and what they find is a web of deceit and misrepresentation. This episode delves into the world of government spending and the ways in which agencies use research to justify their programs. The speaker examines a recent case in Douglas County, Colorado, where a free ride-sharing program is being touted as a success, but the numbers behind it are questionable. The county is using a study commissioned by the transit industry's lobbying group to justify the program, but the study's lead author explicitly states that the numbers don't mean what the county is claiming they do.The speaker digs into the details of the study and the county's claims, revealing a pattern of misrepresentation and deceit. They also explore the broader implications of this kind of government spending, and how it affects not just the residents of Douglas County, but the entire metro area. With the county's finances in shambles, it's time to take a closer look at how our tax dollars are being spent. If you're tired of seeing your tax dollars being used to fund programs that don't deliver, tune in to this episode to hear the full story and learn how you can make a difference. The speaker will walk you through the details of the case and provide a clear-eyed look at the numbers, so you can decide for yourself whether this program is worth the cost.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Thank you!Big trips look amazing in photos, but the rides that change us are often the small ones: a solo coffee run at dawn, a last-minute loop when life feels loud, a familiar canyon road ridden with no plan at all. We're chasing that quieter kind of adventure today, the kind you can actually fit into a normal week and still come home feeling reset. We talk honestly about the tension many riders feel around riding alone. For some of us, a group ride is a real cure for loneliness, and we love that. But we also challenge the idea that solo motorcycle rides have to be lonely. When you stop at a gas station or a local coffee shop without earbuds, you become approachable and open the door to the best kind of road connection: a simple conversation with a stranger who's curious about your helmet and your story. Then we take you to Colorado for a little sound experiment recorded on a phone beside a rushing river in Poudre Canyon, right off State Road 14 near Fort Collins. It turns into a reflection on Mother Nature as a living presence, whether you're surrounded by peaks and trees or riding through city streets under the same sky and wind. We close with a practical challenge rooted in “beginner's mind”: ride a route you know by heart and look for what you've missed all these years. If this resonates, subscribe so you don't miss the next ride, share the episode with a rider who needs a reset, and leave a review to help more people find Peace Love Moto. Join **Remy, Mike, and Nicole** for another packed episode of **Remy's Round-Table: The Florida Theme Park Podcast!**The show kicks off with Remy and Mike stepping away from the theme parks for a moment to discuss some of the biggest and most exciting **video game announcements** heading to gaming platforms in the future. From the long-awaited return of Fable, to the revival of the arcade classic Crazy Taxi, and a newly announced remastered version of Halo, the crew shares their thoughts on which upcoming titles have them the most excited and whether these legendary franchises can live up to the hype. Then it's time for **Would You Rather**, where the Roundtable faces a delicious challenge! This week's edition focuses entirely on **Florida theme park resort restaurants**. Would you choose signature dining over quick service? Character dining over fine dining? The crew debates some tough food matchups and reveals which resort restaurants they'd choose if they could only visit one.During **The Latest Theme Park Updates**, the team dives into the latest construction news from across Florida's major theme parks. From new attractions taking shape and ongoing land expansions to refurbishment projects and future developments, there's plenty to discuss as crews continue working behind the scenes to transform the parks for years to come. If you love construction walls, permits, ride rumors, and project updates, this segment is for you!Next, Remy fires up the time machine for **Ride of the Week** and takes everyone back to **World of Motion** at **EPCOT**. Before **Test Track** occupied the pavilion, World of Motion entertained guests with a humorous journey through the history of transportation. The crew discusses the attraction's legacy, memorable scenes, and the impressive fact that the pavilion reportedly cost around **$150 million** to develop during the 1980s. Was World of Motion one of EPCOT's greatest lost attractions, or does nostalgia make it seem better than it really was? Finally, it's time for another edition of **Mike's Munchies!** Mike takes Remy and Nicole over to **Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera** at **Disney's Riviera Resort**. Known for its upscale atmosphere, rooftop views, and gourmet menu, Topolino's has become one of Walt Disney World's most talked-about dining locations. But great food often comes with a hefty price tag, and Mike's meal total comes in at an eye-popping **$193**! The crew breaks down everything he ordered, discusses whether the experience justified the cost, and debates an important question: **Is a signature resort restaurant worth the extra money, or are you better off spending your dining budget inside the parks?**All of that, plus laughs, opinions, theme park nostalgia, gaming talk, and plenty of food discussion, on this week's episode of **Remy's Round-Table: The Florida Theme Park Podcast!**

Today on Black Dragon Biker TV: Full Patch Outcast MC Brother Challenges Jake Lang to Mutual Combat We break down the viral video where a patched Outcast MC member steps to Jake Lang at a rally for Karmelo Anthony. Lang refuses the mutual combat challenge. We also examine Lang's hateful rhetoric at the rally (blaming Black mothers for Austin Metcalf's death) — especially ironic considering he was recently saved by a Black man during a chaotic incident in Minneapolis. This raises bigger questions for Black 1%ers in today's racially charged climate: What role should we play instead of fighting each other? Raw talk. No filter. Join the discussion.
