I am kicking off Boys' Month 4 with me and Joey C talking about Joy Ride while on a Joy Ride! This week on The Whiskey Trip, Big Chief sits down with Heather and Derek Latzel of Porchlight Distillery in Mason, Texas, one of the newest members of the Texas Whiskey Trail. This episode isn't about finding a finished product. It's about remembering that everyone starts somewhere. As the group shares pours of Porchlight's 95-proof Wheated Bourbon, they talk honestly about the challenges of building a craft distillery from the ground up. The whiskey is still young, but it already shows promising qualities and offers a glimpse of what's to come as the distillery continues to mature its craft. For Big Chief, the visit comes full circle. As a teenager growing up in Central Texas, he made regular trips to Mason to sell Angora goat mohair before stopping at the old feed store to buy livestock feed for the ranch. Decades later, that same historic building has been transformed into Porchlight Distillery—a reminder that while buildings can change, the stories they hold never fade. Heather and Derek share their journey of restoring a piece of Mason's history while pursuing their dream of creating Texas whiskey. It's a story of faith, hard work, and investing in a community they now proudly call home. Every legendary distillery was once the new kid on the block. This conversation is about supporting those willing to take that first step and celebrating the beginning of what could become another great Texas whiskey story. On this week's ride you'll hear: ● Heather and Derek's journey to opening Porchlight Distillery. ● Why they chose Mason, Texas, to chase their dream. ● The story behind the historic feed store that now houses the distillery. ● Big Chief's memories of hauling Angora goat mohair to Mason and buying feed in that very building. ● A discussion of Porchlight's young 95-proof Wheated Bourbon and the promise it holds for the future. ● What it means to be one of the newest members of the Texas Whiskey Trail. ● Why supporting new craft distilleries helps strengthen the entire Texas whiskey community. Every great whiskey story has a beginning. This week, you'll hear one that's just getting started. Take the Ride. Cheers!

Stage 3 of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift exploded into life with attacks from the opening kilometres. Lucinda Brand was among the first to go on the offensive before a powerful 10-rider breakaway formed featuring Lotte Kopecky, Liane Lippert, Lucinda Brand and several other big names. Kopecky later launched a solo attack with 76km remaining, but it was Norwegian champion Sigrid Haugset who held the race in her hands, leading the road and putting herself in contention for both the stage victory and the Yellow Jersey. We also cover the key moments from the day, including attacks from Lippert and Adegeest, Demi Vollering's crash, Dina Boels' abandonment, and how the battle unfolded heading into the final climbs. They then reflect on how quickly time flies as several beloved stars celebrate milestone birthdays, including Tevin Campbell turning 50 and Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow now in their early 60's. Kelly and Sharon also discuss the newest Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2027 and preview the upcoming film starring Idris Elba, Viola Davis, Regina King and Cynthia Erivo. The ladies also share updates on the "A Different World" reboot and "Ted Lasso" Season 4 before Sharon recommends the upcoming series "Ride or Die" starring Hannah Waddingham and Octavia Spencer. Plus, Rosie O'Donnell continues her return to the spotlight with several television appearances ahead of guest hosting "Jimmy Kimmel Live" for one week in August. Kelly and Sharon reflect on Rosie's impact during the 90's and why she continues to connect with audiences today. Give it your best shot with Kelly's Trivia questions and Sharon takes you back to 1995 with your 90's Rewind. Thanks for listening to 90's NOW!

It also means maintaining your independence, staying socially connected, and continuing to enjoy the activities that make life meaningful. In this episode of Healthy, Wealthy & Wise, Tessa Hall and Sandy Hornor welcome Bruce Fulton, Executive Director of Neighbor Ride. The Howard County nonprofit connects adults age 60 and older with volunteer drivers who provide transportation to medical appointments, grocery stores, social events, and other important destinations. As a result, older adults can remain active and engaged in their communities. Bruce explains how Neighbor Ride grew from a small community initiative into one of the region’s leading volunteer transportation programs. Today, hundreds of volunteer drivers provide thousands of rides each year while building meaningful relationships with the people they serve. The conversations that happen during each ride often become just as valuable as the transportation itself. The discussion also highlights the importance of community, volunteerism, and planning for life beyond finances. Ken Bunn, Vice President of Claims at Builders Mutual Insurance Company, joins hosts James Benham and Rob Galbraith to explore how a construction only Southeast insurer built its claims department from scratch, why the AI tools that stick are the ones adjusters never have to think about, and what it takes to keep training junior adjusters into seniors.Ken's path ran through 18 years at Nationwide, rotating between claims leadership, field training, and IT program management, before Builders Mutual asked him to build a claims department that didn't exist yet. Twelve years later, the company has grown from roughly 200 million to 650 million in revenue, and Ken still leads much of the original team he brought over from an outsourced TPA.In this episode:• Why Builders Mutual pulled its claims department in-house, and how they kept close to 30 of the original 40 people they brought over. • The predictive AI models that worked exactly as designed and still failed to stick. • The unglamorous automation, document routing, indexing, and med record summaries, that actually delivered the ROI. • Ken's leadership philosophy for change management with no formal program at all. • Why work comp rate softening may be hitting a floor as catastrophic claims costs climb. Key Quotes:"You can't work on an assembly line and do brain surgery at the same time.""It's not going to solve all your problems. It's going to help.""There might be something wrong when your claims adjusters are the happiest people in the room.""Be real. Tell people what's going to happen and why you're doing it.""Pick and choose your tools well so they inform the adjuster, not just replace them."

DIZNEY COAST TO COAST - The Ultimate Unofficial Disney Fan Podcast
Disney fans rejoice! On this episode, veteran Imagineer Joe Lanzisero returns to talk about an unrealized Muppets attraction he worked on for Disney-MGM Studios, now Disney's Hollywood Studios, at Walt Disney World Resort. The Muppets have had a presence at Disney's Hollywood Studios since the early days. Not only were they used in early marketing for the park, but they also had a stage show called "Here Come The Muppets". They later had a second stage show entitled "Muppets on Location: Days of Swine and Roses". The most successful Muppets attraction to exist at Disney's Hollywood Studios was Muppet*Vision 3D. That entire surrounding area was supposed to be its own Muppets land, but it never came to fruition for reasons Joe and I get into. The area was initally part of Streets of America, then renamed Muppets Courtyard, and eventually Grand Avenue. Soon it will become Monstropolis when the new "Monsters, Inc." land opens in what was supposed to be The Muppet Movie Studios. Listen as Joe and I discuss The Muppet Movie Ride, a traditional animatronics dark ride where Kermit and the gang got into some crazy antics while making movies. That and so much more is coming your way on this episode of Dizney Coast to Coast. ------ EPISODE LINKS: Joe Lanzisero discusses creating Mickey's Toontown (podcast episode) Joe Lanzisero's official website ------ GIVEAWAYS, BONUSES AND SUPPORT: Gain early access to episodes, take part in live streams, and gain more bonuses by joining DCTC on Patreon. Thirty-six years ago, the Americans with Disabilities Act was signed into law, guaranteeing civil rights for millions of Americans. But the movement that made that day possible began years earlier. One pivotal victory was won by a small, often-forgotten group of activists in Denver known as the "Gang of 19."On The Sunday Story, NPR's Joseph Shapiro and Colorado Public Radio's Stephanie Wolf trace the history of the disability rights movement—from the protests that secured accessible public transit to the modern-day fight to protect the hard-won right to live independently. Nobody calls it therapy. That's why it works. Kelly's husband Edward rides bikes several times a week, and keeps coming home saying the conversations are deeper and richer than Kelly might expect. This week, a piece of writing started circulating among cyclists everywhere that explains exactly why - and we thought it was worth sharing. Written by Anthony Walsh (host of The Roadman Cycling Podcast), it's about what happens when a group of men show up in a parking lot at eight in the morning and head out together, shoulder to shoulder, for a three hour bike ride. This one is for every group that shows up, week after week, without quite knowing why it matters — until it does.
