It wasn’t until I had my own encounter with Jesus Christ that I found hope again. My life began to show little glimpses of purpose. I had to stop believing the lies the enemy told me about myself, and start holding on to every word that my Heavenly Father declared about me, because of my new identity through His son. I am His daughter. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I was hand crafted by Yahweh before the foundation of the world. He knows the number of every strand of hair on my head, and He has inscribed my name in the palms of His hands. I am forgiven. I am Back From Broken. Selah.
Have you been going through the crushing lately and you're having a hard time identifying who is responsible for it? Could it truly be of God? Is the enemy? Could it be we ourselves who have caused these things to come upon us? Listen to find out. You may be surprised.
1 John 4:7-8 speaks on what perfect love is all about. It says, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” It's time to look in the mirror and ask the hard questions. “Am I really walking in God's perfect love?”
In 2 Timothy 1:6 the Apostle Paul challenged Timothy to stir up the gift of God that was on the inside of him. I want to encourage you to do the same. It's harvest time and you should be reaping your reward. The Lord does not lie. Find out simple things you can do to cause that seed to come forth. Action is required.
We are made in the divine image of God. Therefore, we are divine and we are godlike. When God looks at us, His hope is to see Himself through us. Genesis Chapter one starts off with the creative works of God. We too have the expression of God's creativity. No one should seek to be like anyone else, because what God has put inside of each one of us was done strategically and for a divine and unique purpose to glorify the Kingdom of God.
Now is the time that God is calling for His sons and daughters to come back to Him. Today is your day.
I want to share 3 ways that helped me find my way back from brokenness, and on the road to becoming whole again.
Everything that I thought I was, I've found out that I'm really not, because God is “I Am.” He lives inside of me. My whole identity is being shaken and redefined by who God says that I am and not who I thought I was.
Are you dealing with feelings of being stuck or helpless? Do you feel like your world is going around and around like a merry-go-round and there's no one to help you break the cycle? I understand. I asked the Lord to help me one morning during my devotion and I heard Holy Spirit say these words to me, “ Help yourself.”
So many times we operate out of our emotions. How we are feeling becomes the factor in determining how we try to solve our own problems instead of leaning on the Lord. We begin to speak out of our emotions and declare things with our tongue that were never meant to be apart of our future. Proverbs 6:2 stated, “You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth.”
