Origins is the kickoff episode of every season of Unbound. This podcast is a workshop packed with helpful tools and awesome discussion designed to set the stage for your next great character and adventure in Skyrim!

The Apex or climax of a good story is the event that incites such extreme conflict that our character is changed forever. In this episode we discuss what makes a great story apex and we hear about your adventures this season.

The Struggle is what defines our characters. In this episode we discuss the difficult choices our characters will have to make in their journeys and how these victories and defeats shape who they are and impact your story.

The Awakening episode is a discussion of our character’s growing physical, magical and social power. What can we do as players to express this growing power in meaningful ways to convey a more realistic sense of our character’s impact on the world.

Over the years we have been privileged to interview so many talented role players, YouTubers, mod creators and authors on this show. In that time, I have always been astonished by how creatives of all stripes find a way to express themselves, sometimes against all odds. Life keeps us all busy, no matter who we are, but the one thing creatives all have in common is a relentless drive to pull magic from their imaginations and make it a reality in the real world.What I have learned is that this is not a job but it is work! He has recently completed work on the core rule book for a new role playing game called Z-Land. Every season of Character Crusade Unbound features homework. Homework is intended to help you with role play ideas, promote creativity and keep you from getting stuck. This season we are thinking about the concept of change and how our characters transform over time. In this Season 2 starter, Stu explains the idea of Story Value Pairs and how you can use it to think about your character's journey and the many ways in which even small events can change a character.
