I recently hosted for D'Lai at the Orlando Improv this past weekend. D'Lai was the winner of the 2004 Vegas Star Search and has since appeared on HBO's Def Comedy Jam, Showtime, BET's Comic View, and Kevin Hart's Laughing Out Loud Network. I was able to share the stage with a comedian that helped me through my trouble times during my comedy career. I recently hosted for Affion (ay-fee-aan-kraa-kit) Crocket at the Tampa Improv . Affion Crockett is an actor, writer, dancer, rapper, comedian and music producer. I had a long conversation with my daughter on what she wants to be when she grows up, but during  this deep conversation made me realize that I was never taught to dream growing up. The world seems to stand still when you are told. That feeling you have never felt before, of total sadness. You feel faint and dazed as if you are falling or dreaming. You were told this was going to happen, but you could never be prepared for it. You don't know what to say, you are totally speechless. You burn up, feel dizzy but no tears will come. You have to get out of there, to escape, runaway anything to make this feeling fade. You just don't want to believe it had happened after everything. I am here to  talks about Dave Chappelle comedy special" The Closer". And it looks like Dave Chappelle is here to  try and set the record straight; and get a few things off his chest. 

Being a parent isn't a very easy job. It is in fact one of the most provoking yet emotionally and physically challenging opportunities in life. Once you are a parent, you are stuck in it for life and there's no turning back. We would never know how difficult it is being a parent until we actually become one

Losing someone is the hardest challenge anyone has to go through. Grief is something we all go through in life and it's something that causes a lot of pain. Not only that but a lot of upset even years after losing that loved one. There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and no amount of time can ever truly cure the upset you feel after. There's nothing quite as hard as trying to get on with life, after just losing someone who meant the world to you. But grieving is a normal process and one that is relevant after losing a loved one.

Life is short, and if we enjoy every moment of every day, then we will be happy no matter what happens or what changes along the way
