NH Diversity Council holds first public session at UNH.

The state's new Council on Diversity and Inclusion met for the first time last Thursday. The overall energy was many council members want to hit the ground running.

Our first episode of the Diversity Speaks NH podcast features Rogers Johnson, chairman of the council and president of the Seacoast NAACP; Jim Maggiore, chairman of the North Hampton Select Board and father of a child who is part of the LGBTQ+ community; Pawn Nitichan, executive director of City Year New Hampshire; Sharon Harris, the Community College System of New Hampshire designee to the council; and Allyson Ryder, the associate director of Leadership New Hampshire who identifies as a gay woman.
