Dixie (the nice voice), John (the boyfriend), and Jake (not the boyfriend, he is romantically accessible for those interested) discuss most things under the sun and exhibit poor broadcasting technique.

...temporarily. Consider this show to be our demo tapes, starting off with some rough cuts before we get ready for a cleaner, polished, more cohesive show. Coming soon under the new moniker Bits with Dixie. We are genuinely thankful for everyone who sat through our first efforts. We're also excited to bring you into the new era with us. Hoo-ah. See you soon Music - John's Picks Intro: Cool Blue - Tristen Outro: Walk of Life (feat. Tim Bond, Aubrey Hays, Benjamin Violet & Sloane Lenz) [Live] - Big Bill
We're back... and so is the mic rustling. I just can't catch a darn break with these bumps and rustlies. I might have to go back to school just to learn how to set up a p-cast. Large thanks to Dixie's sister Daisy for being the first guest on our poorly-recorded show. Music - Daisy's Picks Intro: When Did Your Heart Go Missing? - Rooney Outro: Real Love Baby - Father John Misty
Things are really starting to look up here at Dixie's Boyfriend's Headquarters. We have purchased better audio equipment, and wisely chose to not record in a bathroom with a fan on. Getting closer to the Promised Land of releasing episodes with 0 major recording issues. Shout out to all our friends and family who have suffered through our show this far Music - Jake's Picks Intro: I Saw Her for the First Time - Dr. Dog Outro: Tried and True - Ween
Recorded live from Dixie's bathroom. Just when you thought that our episodes were starting to sound halfway decent, we go and throw in an especially-echoey bathroom setting, plus a fan we have on in the background for half the episode, and a heaping helping of Jake's nose whistling on top of THAT. Don't worry though, I spent $700 I don't have on more p-casting equipment. Which means it will only be a matter of time before we have our own NPR segment. Music - Dixie's Picks Intro: Ramblin' Fever - Merle Haggard Outro: Never Been to Spain - Elvis Presley
Now featuring music, both professional and otherwise. This episode (thankfully) contains less uses of the word "like", less mic fuzz, and less mushmouth talking from our dear friend John compared to our previous work. Sorry to all those who wrote in begging us to say like more and mumble at faster speeds. Music - John's Picks Intro: Spring Has Sprung - Skegss Outro: Long Drive Home - Turnpike Troubadours
Spoilers contained herein. This is the first time we officially review a piece of content. Many more to come. Also, editing the podcast is gonna be a good Clockwork Orange style of exposure therapy to get me to stop saying "like" so much. It's pretty brutal
...to Dixie, a perfect angel, and to the listening audience for all the audio troubles. We took care of the mic rustling and all the heavy breathing from the last episode, but apparently we swapped it out for a slight electronic buzz in the background whenever we speak. Also for most of the episode I am both slurring my words and talking at the speed of light. I pray to the Lord our technical issues will cease in the near future, but for now we shall conquer one computer battle at a time. Hope everyone is doing well out there
What's up player. This is a rough first episode, with all sorts of rustling and room tone and breathing directly into the microphone. It's all uphill from here
