Nee Moment. There's only one question swirling around the North Carolina Men's Basketball Program -- What will it take for Hubert Davis to keep his job? Joe Ovies joins Gary Parrish to give a boots-on-the-ground perspective of the situation going on in Chapel Hill. 03:11 - Is 2025 Hubert Davis's Last Stand 09:31 - What can Hubert Davis do to keep his job
One may transfer oneself, and it takes practice, to the internal potency, and that's what we're doing. So, anyone can be trained in the philosophy of Kṛṣṇa consciousness to attain this, it takes a lot of coaching, and you have to coach yourself. Everyone feels put upon by material nature, subjected to various miseries. Do you ever feel subjected to various miseries? Then change the subject, because the subject of our mind is how to fix everything in the material world. That's the subject. That's why there are shops everywhere. Every shop has tried to fix some problem, and it doesn't matter how many you go to, it won't work. But if you come to this shop and you practice every day meditating on the one object, the ultimate object of meditation, there's only one ultimate object—that's Bhagavān, and then it's Kṛṣṇa or Lord Caitanya, same. Stay there, and then, "How do I do that? My mind is fickle." Chant Hare Kṛṣṇa and listen to the holy name. Everything, all potencies, are fully available in that. It has to be practiced every day carefully. Then when the result comes, there's a change of one's position in life. We go from the struggle of anartha-nivṛtti, which is, "How do I overcome this? Why am I being assaulted constantly by my senses?" to a place, niṣṭhā, where it's noticeable that the noise has gone down, and one feels that one has a standing in spiritual life. It's noticeable. One has a standing in spiritual life and isn't being pushed around by the unwanted desires. They're gone. And then from there comes ruci, which means that it becomes so enjoyable to chant Hare Kṛṣṇa that it's the main thing I want to do, not the last thing I want to do or not, "I have to do this," it's, "When can I do it? How can I do it more?" ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose
Welcome to this week's Indie Artist Music Hustle with Blonde Intelligence. I am your host Ms. Roni and I always seek to give you exquisite cranial repertoire Drake's spectacular fall from grace offers a masterclass in how quickly an artist can squander years of goodwill. What happens when one of hip-hop's most influential figures loses the respect of both peers and fans? The answer isn't pretty. The recent spectacle of Drake screaming at his own audience to form mosh pits, only to have water bottles hurled back at him, signals a troubling shift in his career trajectory. This podcast explores how Drake's seemingly one-sided obsession with competing against Kendrick Lamar has morphed from friendly rivalry into something far more concerning. The prophecy in Kendrick's lyrics—"the money, the power, the respect, the last one's better"—now rings with eerie precision as we witness Drake struggling to maintain his standing in the industry.Perhaps most telling is Drake's pattern of disrespect toward others. From dragging opponents' significant others into rap beefs to publicly ridiculing former partners in songs for years afterward, these behaviors reveal character issues that can't be obscured by commercial success. When compared with his earlier beef with Pusha T (which many felt Drake lost but recovered from), this latest chapter seems to be inflicting more lasting damage to his reputation. As the saying goes, it takes years to build respect and only moments to lose it.The timing couldn't be more symbolic, occurring during the Lion's Gate portal energy with multiple planets in retrograde—a cosmic period that often forces reckoning with past actions. For artists at any level, Drake's situation serves as a powerful reminder that while money and power might come easily with success, respect must be continually earned and carefully maintained. Once lost, it proves incredibly difficult to recapture.Want more insights on the music industry from both independent artists and industry professionals? Who's getting canceled! I need to know this. It's important to know who that is happening to! Because I assume it is a lot of people. Presumably it is, right? It's only a few or several years later. And nothing has really changed since then. Plus there's a game about it, which usually indicates some level of relevance. Yep. All in all, I'd say someone is getting canceled. God, I hope it's no one I care about! The consequences, we assume, would be dire. Well anyway on today's show there's that kind of stuff. The 3 Big Questions We're Answering: 1. How can the lessons learned from hard training in the gym be applied to improve our mental resilience and overall life satisfaction? 2. What role do judgment and expectation play in our ability to start new challenges, and how can we overcome these barriers? 3. How can surrounding ourselves with like-minded individuals transform our struggles into meaningful progress in both fitness and daily life?
This week, Kate and her sister give One in a Millennial one last hurrah in honor of its paperback release by sharing some more behind-the-scenes nostalgia and adding context from their two millennial lives that shaped how the book came to be. Kelly asks Kate questions relating to lots of never-before-shared details, e.g. the metaphorical significance of opening the book inside a shopping mall, examples of cut chapters and concepts, honoring their mutual experiences being routinely friend-zoned, revisiting her tendency to sob through Back in the Daybed, opening up about the haunting irony of her audiobook recording experience, and so much more! Enjoy :)Order Kate's NYT Bestselling book, One in a Millennial here (now out in paperback, too!)Text or leave a voicemail for Kate at 775-HEY-BETH!Thank you to our exclusive partner for today's episode, Amika!Because Amika loves Be There in Five listeners as much as we love them, they're giving you a one-time use code for 20% off your first order.
