Here at Beach Church, we believe that great leaders serve from a calling! On this episode, Pastor Carey and recent interns Chris and Rachel share their experience from our Beach Church internship and what they've learned about leadership through this experience. 

Here at Beach Church, we believe that great leaders multiply! That's why we couldn't be more excited for our new Multiply Vision that God has given us for the next 5 years. On this episode, Pastor Carey and Pastor Jerry break down the Multiply vision and how we hope to multiply disciples, leaders, systems, churches, and new ground.

Great Leaders... canoe the mountains  When Louis and Clark Expedition hit the Rocky Mountains armed with nothing but canoes,  they put the mission first, and boldly adapted to the unexpected terrain. To scale the mountains of ministry, we too must learn to abandon the canoes and adjust to uncharted landscapes. Join an ensemble of staff members including Carey Sumner, Jacob Woodward,  Lindsey Brown, and Gina Duffy, as they recount the heart behind staff retreat, leadership insights, and how we can canoe the mountains together as leaders at Beach Church.

Great leaders... grow closer to Jesus. You cannot lead somewhere you have not first gone yourself. In order to lead others closer to Jesus, you must be continually growing in your relationship with him. Pastor Carey connects with guest speaker Katie Baughman to discuss their experiences and provide practical insights for maintaining a relationship with Jesus that is not only active in the present but grows and flourishes over the long haul. 

Great leaders... pour into others. We believe that one of the greatest privileges of leadership is raising up the next wave of leaders. Great leaders... win others to Jesus. Each and every person has a unique position of influence in the atmosphere around them. Are we using that influence to lead others to Jesus? Great leaders... are great followers. In order to lead greatly we must first follow greatly. Jesus himself modeled this for us in scripture, wholeheartedly following the leadership of God the Father. Just as Jesus set his sights on his father's vision, powerful followers understand and align themselves with their team's vision and mission.
