We're Hype Collective, a student marketing agency. We've started a podcast dedicated to exploring our some of our projects and giving students insight into life outside of uni. Our first series: Meet the Mentors!
The Hype Collective Podcast is BACK with a brand new special exploring the recent Parents As Influencers release! Every quarter, we release a research piece as part of our The Issues series, which focuses on what students are thinking about a particular aspect of their lives. This time, we're looking at parents, their views of the world of work, and the impact they have on the next generation. Join us as we break down the findings of the research, interview students Moni and Gurpal on their experiences navigating the early stages of their careers with their parents' influence, and sit down with early careers experts Rebecca Carlton (Marks and Spencer) and Dan Doherty (Capgemini) to explore what graduate recruiters can do to include parents in their career planning. If you like this episode and would like even more insight into early careers, graduate recruitment, or to simply talk about the findings, be sure to give our host Jayne Cullen an email on jayne@hypecollective.co.uk.
The Hype Collective Podcast is BACK with a brand new miniseries! Every quarter, we release a research piece called The Issues, which focuses on what students are thinking about a particular aspect of their lives. We've covered Travel, Alcohol, and now, we're taking our most recent Work Issue into podcast form. We're interviewing some of our student City Managers from around the country about one of the themes from the Work Issue; mental health in the workplace. In the final episode of this miniseries, Vili and Emily sit down with us to give their opinions on how employers should treat mental health, from the perspective of future graduate employees. They share useful insights into how students view mental health, and how they would like it addressed in employment. If you like this episode and would like even more insight into mental health in the workplace, we're hosting an event in London on the 20th November 2019, 'Time to Talk: Mental Health & Wellbeing in Early Careers Recruitment'. This will feature some amazing thought leaders from Deliveroo, Accenture and more. To attend, please email hello@hypecollective.co.uk with the event title as a reference.
