In a special edition of the InformedAg Podcast, we feature the people, companies and technology we saw at the 2022 Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, Georgia. InformedAg wishes to present this episode in honor of Wendell Brown, a longtime supporter, friend, and colleague of Sunbelt Expo. Wendell is deeply missed by all who knew him.
On this episode of the InformedAg podcast, our regular host Rees Bridges is interviewed by our producer and editor Jasey Black. We discuss his background in manufacturing, his passion for agriculture, and what it is to own a small business.
We sit down with Georgia State Representative Clay Pirkle for a candid conversation about his background in agriculture, path to politics, and the legislation he hopes will benefit farmers everywhere. Please excuse our cicada "guest stars"! They were very excited about hearing Mr. Pirkle speak :)
Dr. Erin Porter, Associate Professor of Agricultural Engineering at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, joins us to discuss the need for undergraduate agricultural students to have hands-on experiences in and out of the typical classroom setting to build their practical understanding of the technology they're utilizing and developing. The InformedAg Podcast is hosted by Rees Bridges. This podcast is edited and produced by Jasey Black.
