Today, we look into the power of sound as a vehicle. Sound that travels by air waves has the potential to make or break when received, perceived and understood, so it makes me wonder, what's in the mind of some of the vessels that make this music that is traveling so rapidly. To dive into this topic with me is Nigerian Artist Kobi Jonz, crooner of popular hit songs like Paddle, Conscious, and most recently Give. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/tayo-ishola/support

This intense and persistent worry and fear about time dwells in the mind and we find ourselves living in the past and future in a way that makes us anxious and is detrimental to optimal functioning. Isn't it amazing how one could think about future possibilities and bring to their experience a reaction that hasn't even yet occurred. This is because your brain can hardly differentiate that your imaginations haven't translated into present time or better put (experience), and as a spirit being, you already project yourself into the future without knowing it. When we find ourselves in the midst of this turmoil, we need to come right back to the center, back to the present. This is where we can experience peace and contentment. If we are created in God's image and God lives outside of time, then there is an element in us that supersedes time, so we are greater than any task, already accomplished or hoping to accomplish so why give an inanimate thing (a task or the imagination of it) all of our power. Let's get familiar with Peace in the present, use meditation as a tool to embrace a new perspective, for indeed, sometimes all we need is a paradigm shift. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/tayo-ishola/support
If negative words and patterns make up our predominant thoughts, then we create mindsets that can set us up for failure and can bring trouble to our relationships. We must first become aware of the words we choose to use that make up how we communicate, then we can understand our thought patterns and modify them to create mindsets that benefit us and contribute to the wholeness of our beings. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/tayo-ishola/support

Offense is seed for unrest and anxiety and grows into many things, not limited in scope to animosity, enmity, evil judgement, and pure wickedness. The fruit that the seed of offense sprouts into doesn't affect the one we are offended by in the same way it affects us, so this is a battle with self and one that we'd need to win internally. The good news is we can heal unforgiveness and patterns of offense by increasing our awareness of its existence in our lives. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/tayo-ishola/support
