James implored us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. But is this just matter of will power? How can we go from being people who are just reactive? And what part does Jesus play in this?

Justin and Jesse Gruber broadcast from the badlands of South Jersey to officially rename hockey to "Ice Football" and celebrate the beautiful sound of the New Jersey governor getting relentlessly booed by Devils fans. Moving from sports to spiritual gymnastics, the guys trace the 1950s "stay out of our bedroom" movement directly into the modern church. They compare C.S. Lewis's safe, "vanilla" Anglican roots to today's Church of England, highlighting a clergyman's Greta Thunberg-style meltdown over the church not fully affirming "procreative" and "God-glorifying" same-sex marriages. Then, they tackle the ultimate boss of post-truth secular logic: a viral post from a churchgoing, charity-running lesbian mom who claims her spicy OnlyFans account is just her faithfully loving the sensual body God gave her. Plus: Jesse valiantly fights off sleep on mic, the guys realize they completely lost track of their recording time, and they drop a tease for a brand new podcast t-shirt. Vice President JD Vance DROPS THE HAMMER on fraud-plagued Minnesota! The Trump administration is temporarily halting $259 MILLION in federal Medicaid payments until the state stops the massive taxpayer waste. This is the FIRST big win in President Trump's "war on fraud." In his State of the Union address, Trump warned Americans about the shocking corruption shredding our nation, calling Minnesota a "stunning example" where members of the Somali community have pillaged an estimated $19 BILLION from hardworking taxpayers. Now Vance, teaming with CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz, is delivering RESULTS. Are we going to see politicians arrested? We also cover: John Thune can SAVE the Republic. Kamala Harris for president? Recent changes at the Washington Post's newsroom and opinion section point a spotlight at the relationship between owner Jeff Bezos and President Trump. On Today's Show:Ruth Marcus, a contributor to The New Yorker and a former columnist for the Washington Post and the author of Supreme Ambition: Brett Kavanaugh and the Conservative Takeover (Simon & Schuster, 2019), comments on national politics and the state of journalism.
Boomer opens the hour by reading fan mail on air. We take a nostalgic look back at the legendary Club Bene in Sayreville and the famous acts that performed there. The guys address Al's recent outburst regarding the political associations surrounding the U.S. Men's hockey team. To wrap up the hour, they discuss a gross incident on the Garden State Parkway and the end of Jerry's tenure as a Little League coach, including his unpublished book on the experience.
The Democrats didn’t just disagree with President Trump’s State of the Union. They wore the same permanent expressions they always seem to have. Scowling. Stone-faced. Angry. No applause. No optimism. No sense that America is on the rise. Just bitterness on display for the entire country to see. On this episode of Stinchfield, we ask a simple question: what happened to the American left? Those permanent faces tell a story. A movement that once talked about hope now seems fueled by resentment. A party that claims to represent progress looked visibly unable to celebrate American success if Donald Trump is the one delivering it. Their reaction has gone far beyond what used to be called Trump Derangement Syndrome. This is something new. Something deeper. Call it Ultra Trump Derangement Syndrome. An inability to acknowledge results, strength, or national pride simply because of who is in the Oval Office. And then there’s Ilhan Omar. Perhaps no one embodied that anger more. We break down her latest outburst, the misleading claims that followed, and the now familiar pattern of deflection, distortion, and grievance politics. When you examine the facts, the narrative collapses. We’ll walk through it point by point. This isn’t just about one speech or one member of Congress. It’s about a mindset that refuses to see America as great, refuses to see opportunity, and refuses to meet the moment even when the country is moving forward. https://TheMaverickSystem.comhttps://VRAInsider.comhttps://www.PatriotMobile.com/Granthttps://Twc.Health/Grant (Code Grant for 10% off)https://www.EnergizedHealth.com/Granthttps://GrantLovesGold.com See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Anger can be one of the most challenging emotions, and yet it can also move us to protect what matters most. We talk about the two kinds of anger and why one is harmful and the other healing. We also work through what makes it hard to admit we're angry, and what might even help us see it as a gift. ResourcesMoving Past What You Cannot Change by Suzanne Eller

Hi love.Have you ever felt like no one listens…until you lose it?You ask calmly. You explain clearly. You regulate yourself. And nothing changes. But the moment you explode? Suddenly, everyone's paying attention. In this premium Behind the Mic episode, Tiffini, Joy, and I unpack the dynamic that hit a nerve in the office this morning:Why do some systems only respond to anger? We talk about:– The pattern of suppressing anger to be the “good girl” – The breaking point where suppression turns into explosion – Why some partners (and kids) only respond when you're dysregulated – Internal Family Systems (IFS) and the war between your Manager and Firefighter parts – The Anacardium pattern: “Everybody breaks.” – How codependency is rooted in the refusal to feel – Why leaning in feels scarier than leaning out – The guilt that comes when you stop over-functioning – Parenting from regulation instead of control – And how to break generational suppression before it reaches your daughter's Saturn returnWe also explore a powerful truth:Codependency isn't just “doing too much.”It's: “I don't want to feel. And I don't want you to feel.”And when feelings are suppressed long enough, rage becomes the only available language. This episode is raw.We talk about screaming fights.Throwing clothes in the yard.Village parenting.Undoing 20 years of over-functioning.And what it looks like to assume goodwill instead of defending. If you've ever thought: “They only hear me when I'm angry,”This conversation will help you understand why.And more importantly, how to stop needing to break to be seen.Welcome to Panel Rant Thursday.Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MyCoachDawnInstagram: (@dawnwiggins)Instagram: (@coachtiffini)On the Web: https://www.mycoachdawn.comA podcast exploring the journey of life after divorce, delving into topics like divorce grief, loneliness, anxiety, manifesting, the impact of different attachment styles and codependency, setting healthy boundaries, energy healing with homeopathy, managing the nervous system during divorce depression, understanding the stages of divorce grief, and using the Law of Attraction and EMDR therapy in the process of building your confidence, forgiveness and letting go.Support the show✨Join the Cocoon Community - your people are waiting! ✨ Stress-Less Flower Essence
Send a textType 2 diabetes is affecting people far beyond blood sugar numbers. It's fear, frustration, pain, and many people trying to carry it alone. In this video, I respond to an anonymous post from a diabetes support group member that hit hard. The person describes blood sugar spikes, burning feet at night, sciatica pain that limits movement, fear of neuropathy, and fear of being judged for asking for help.I also share a bit of my own experience with type 2 diabetes, and I speak directly to the bigger issue: too many people feel like they don't have real support. Tonight, we're breaking down a major decision from the Supreme Court of the United States blocking Donald Trump's tariffs and declaring them illegal. This comes after Trump repeatedly insisted he had the authority to impose them on his own. The Court said otherwise. Trump is furious, but this ruling raises a bigger question about limits on executive power and whether the constitutional guardrails are still holding. Is this a turning point? A rare institutional check in a turbulent political era? Tonight we break down what the decision means for democracy, the economy, and what could come next.

They also discuss the recent march against guns and what the practicality of what some on the left seem to want to do to try and reel in assault style weapons. They also turn to the phones and speak to a caller who wanted to alert Adam that he was discussed on Barstool recently and another with a question about one of Adam's favorite bands ‘The Jayhawks'.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Donald Trump has the midterms on his mind. A few days ago he erupted in a wild tirade on Truth Social, raging about voter fraud and voter ID while urging Republicans to make them central in the elections. He's now pinned this rant to the top of his feed. Over the last 24 hours, he's been on a tear, elevating half a dozen other tweets on these topics. By “warning” that Republicans must centralize voter fraud, he's actually telling them to engage in mass voter suppression or perish. He has good reason to panic: One new poll has his approval at 38 percent. Another survey puts Democrats ahead in the House ballot matchup by six points. And polling averages find Trump's approval on immigration, his “good” issue, at abysmal lows. We talked to Lakshya Jain, head of political data for The Argument. He explains why the numbers are even worse for Trump if you dig into the details, particularly on the economy; why it's so unusual that Trump is tanking on two GOP issues, the economy and immigration; and why that is creating unexpected opportunities for Democrats. Frederica Mathewes-Green explains how TV and the internet are engineered for outrage—training us to argue instead of understand. This clip comes from A Commitment to Reality. We are living through one of the most disorienting periods in human history—leaving many to wonder: What is reality? As artificial intelligence accelerates and institutional trust erodes, our shared sense of what is real continues to crumble.A commitment to reality is a dedication to discerning what is true and developing the discipline to live in alignment with that truth—with reality. A conversation with meditation teacher Jay Michaelson about what to do when you're constantly tired, fried, and running on empty. If you feel exhausted seemingly all the time—whether it's a low hum or something louder—you're not alone. In this conversation, Jay Michaelson, our Teacher of the Month for February, talks with executive producer DJ Cashmere about the relentless fatigue so many of us are experiencing, and what actually helps. We talk about: Why your first move should be self-compassion (not self-blame)—especially in a culture obsessed with sleep optimization The important oscillation between being with difficulty versus reaching for an antidote HALT: the acronym that can save you (Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired) How to investigate exhaustion without trying to fix it right away Practical antidotes: screen hygiene, micro-naps, and yes, brain machines How our Stone Age brains are being hijacked by tech companies Why nap shame is "pure garbage" and you should kiss it goodbye The social conditions causing exhaustion that are beyond individual control The through-line: this isn't about becoming superhuman or gritting your teeth through exhaustion. It's about relating to it differently, being kinder to yourself, and using whatever tools actually work—even if they feel unconventional.
