8 things I didn't FULLY consider while adulting + christening Cheers to my return with a solo dolo episode! Of course, I am bringing the raw truth about things I've considered in this season. I admonish you to reflect on one or all considerations and see what resonates with you at this moment. It's a beautiful thing, to be honest with God, and an even more beautiful thing, to be honest with yourself. Take care of yourself so you're healthy for others! Amen! 1. I'm still a child in the Lord's eyes. So be like one! 2. Humility isn't diminishing who Christ made me to be! STOP false humility. 3. Humility is having a teachable heart. Remain teachable. 4. Trauma won't heal just because you're saved. You Got To Do The Work! 5. Boundaries aren't selfish, Yet Love covers. Find that balance. 6. Be patient with your father 7. Your destination/purpose is where ever the Lord leads you, you can kill anxiety this way. Just be ready. 8. Being like a child isn't immaturity but TRUST in the one who's higher than I. friendships: toxic or teacher "I've always said people come and go. They say there are seasonal and lifetime relationships. However, what if people stay as long as you allow them to? Everyone can't take every step with you but all relationships don't need to be terminated. Honestly, the problem may not be them. It's you!" - Auggy HOST INFO: August Colbert - @_a_u_g_g_y_ #NoTableTalk #RealPeopleRealGod --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/notabletalk/support

Why Settle?, pt 2 (feat. Jesse, Ruth, Evelyn & Chekube)

Episode Two Is Live! Diving into the topic of settling opened up an interesting question. Why don't we trust the Lord with our lives? In so many ways, God has never failed nor forsaken us and we still choose to be in control. Part 1 touches a lot on our testimonies of trusting God and learning to let go of control. If we just trust that the Lord has our best interest at heart would we feel the need to settle? I hope our journey helps you reflect on your life and how it lines up with God's perfect will. It is so possible to enjoy this life and follow Christ when you let go and let God. His way is so much BETTER! After years of believing the lie that I was limited by my size. It was time to say no more to the insecurities that weren't my own. It was a process but there is freedom in knowing Christ didn't make a mistake with me. I expose Insecurities and I remind you that you are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made! This is part of what I received from God when diving into how Christ sees Beauty and Worth. Obviously, humans judge by the exterior but God is calling us higher. He desires us to see things the way he sees them.
