Max is fitted for a new M.A.R.S suit.  The Multi-Augmented Reconnaissance & Surveillance suits are standard issue for all Order of Light field agents.  Max has little time to enjoy his new suit though.  A sudden explosion cuts his fitting short.

Max has been training hard.  Under Alana's tutelage, Max is excelling.  After a rigorous workout, Alana suggests they take a break and visit the Forge.  Max meets the leader of the Ferrum Clan, Lady Sotera, and she gives him a gift.

Max wakes up to find that he was not, in fact, dreaming.  He is in an underground city called the Citadel, and now he is expected to train with the Atlanteans to find out if he is what they call the Key.  Max meets a man named Primus, the man who will ascertain Max's true purpose.

Max has spent his first night at the Citadel.  His first full day in the underground city promises to bring some new challenges, but first he has a run in with his guardian Alana.  

Max has entered the Sanctuary, the nerve center of the underground city of the Citadel.  Finally, Max can get some answers about his parents, but first Plato much teach him a little history lesson.

Deep below the streets of London, Max discovers the hidden city of the Citadel; home of a group of Atlanteans.  Max meets their leader, Plato.

Max and his new companions escape to the famous clock tower known as Big Ben.  The monument holds a secret that Max would have never guessed.

Max lands is beautiful London after a fitful flight.  Soon they are off to the famous Big Ben to meet up with friends.  While there Max gets to enjoy a proper serving of fish and chips.  The day is shaping up to be amazing... until they get attacked.

Safely on the plane to London, Max begins to relax a little.  Exhausted from the 'chase', Max falls fast asleep.  Unfortunately, his dreams leave little room for a peaceful sleep.

Max miraculously survived his trip to the airport, even with Wayland's driving skills.  Max and his family somehow got away from the would be pursuers on the freeway, but as they check in at the airport, Max is in for another surprise.

Wayland, Max's best friend and newly minted licensed driver, offers to drive the Hunter family to the airport.  Max is less than thrilled to be riding while his anxiety ridden friend is at the wheel.  En route to the airport Max notices some strange tailgaters.  

Max comes home to find his house in shambles.  The culprit... his parents.  Max's archaeologist parents pack for their upcoming trip to Egypt and Max shares the news of his newfound running prowess.  His parents seem to know more than they are letting on. 

Max Hunter is at the end of his sophomore year at Valley View High School.  Track practice is proving to be an embarrassing affair.  He's not the best runner, but today something is different.  Today, he is fast!

The adventure begins!  10000 BC, a desperate youth searches for his Master as a horde of enemies forms outside the Sphinx in Egypt.  Plato, an Atlantean, must find his Master, Venator before the horde destroys everything.
