This podcast is here to show you that there are many different points of views to look at. From sharing opinions, personal stories and discussions with friends. I plan to bring authenticity, transparency and encouragement. I pray this podcast brings you laughter, healing and hope.
In this episode I touch on why we may have low self esteem and how it affects our daily lives. "Sometimes self-esteem and self-worth can be used interchangeably but they are different things. Our self-worth never changes and it is not dependent on how we’re feeling. Self-worth is about who you are, not what you do. In other words, it is about valuing your inherent worth as a person not measuring yourself based on external actions."
I speak with my best friend, maid of honour and sister in Christ what covenant friendship is, how we built up our friendship and we also speak on breakups and what healing from a breakup looks like practically. Join us in this very transparent and funny episode
In this episode I talk with my long time friend of 18 years. My pillar in my childhood and teenage years, my confidante, sister and bridesmaid She brings out a side of me that I once knew, we speak about experiences and life growing up in East London In this episode we discuss; How have we managed to remain friends for so long? How do we maintain our friendship now that we are both in different stages of our life. What do you think are the key differences when it comes to female friendships and male friendships? How do you deal with people knowing your business and gossiping about you? What are you learning so far in your 20s? What advice would you give to your younger self or young women in their teens? How do you feel looking around and seeing the journeys of your peers? What childish mentalities have you had to leave behind, what did you need to change?
Today I tackle this horrid syndrome. It can truly paralyse you from being great. I don't think the issue is accepting our failures at times but rather accepting our achievements.
Here I discuss forgiveness from a biblical POV. I share with you guys a struggle I had with unforgiveness recently. Whilst we should never over simplify and reduce the hurts of people, I wanted to tackle the idea that we can console other believers by telling them they don't have to forgive. "Unforgiveness keeps the hurt alive"
Here I briefly talk about what this podcast is about and what you should expect. Authenticity, Transparency and Encouragement
