Red Headed Stepchild is supposed to be a discussion about art, culture, and current events. Sometimes you'll get that and sometimes you'll get a whole bunch of foolishness. Hosted by Alex Barrett from Richmond, VA.
It has certainly been a long time since the last episode of Red Headed Stepchild. And what better way to bring it back than to have another ginger in the studio with me. Tyler is a dear friend of mine and we talked all about recovery from drugs and alcohol, his experiences, the loss of some of our friends...it was a lot to catch up on, but I promise there are some laughs in there! Always enjoy talking to this man and I'm hoping we can do this again soon. Thanks for listening!
Happy Veteran's Day. Patriotism vs. Nationalism. California Wildfires. Stan Lee. Fox News goes after the Seahawks. Forbidden fruit. Public BMs. IT'S ALL IN HERE. Oh yeah. This is a crusty one. Sober October has ended so here's to No Fun November. Let's see if we can finish 2018 with an episode per week. Probably not.
THIS JUST IN: Homeless people have iPhones better than mine. Joggers have yet to discover sidewalks. The President and Kanye West are gay for each other. Elizabeth Warren is white af. Forbidden fruit likes astrology. Have a nice week!
Erin Tutt (in the butt) comes into my lopsided studio for the first time. She's healing from some serious injuries incurred reaching for a blanket. She weighs in on the real doll review, the squirt master, the Westboro Baptist Church's music, fat people seal sex, and some hott butt steaks. I really enjoyed having her over and hope to get her back in here soon. SOBER MAY IS STILL ONGOING. Good day.
Tom Doland is one of the creators of Spiral, a collective artistic production/event that will be held at The Broadberry on September 22. He also was a presenter for TedxRVA where he spoke about the importance of nutritional education for Americans, but most importantly, America's children. This podcast was recorded a year ago and I'm just now getting around to posting it. There were some technical difficulties throughout, but I'm confident in your ability to deal with it. We got into some of his personal story and I really enjoyed having him. He'll be in next Tuesday, 5/1. Thanks for listening!
Finally got the chance to sit down and talk with my homie, Elliott Ness. Last time we recorded a podcast, my computer ate it. So I'm happy that we got to do this again. We get into what butter means to him, how his new music project is unfolding, and I also introduce him to Hovey Benjamin and I am extremely surprised that he hadn't heard Send Bobs. Hit me up on instagram @Ab1zzle for upcoming podcast announcements. Enjoy!
