So yes, the autocomplete that hallucinates your grocery list is also maybe accidentally bombing schools. Meta's Oversight Board is begging the company to get serious about AI-generated content after a fake war video from a Filipino fake news account racked up 700K views — while separately, Zuckerberg dropped cash on Moltbook, a "social network for AI agents" that turned out to be mostly humans larping as bots and had a security flaw that exposed everyone's API keys. The guy who built it basically vibe-coded the whole thing. Meta's own CTO said he didn't "find it particularly interesting." And yet. Oracle is hemorrhaging jobs and drowning in debt chasing AI dreams, its stock down 50% from peak — a timely reminder that "AI will replace workers" is currently manifesting as "companies set money on fire and lay people off to pay the electric bill." Made with his long-term creative partner Ludvig Parment (Saturday, Monday), it's the full realisation of something that's been building since the pair's 2023 mixtape Learn to Swim — a record that holds you through it all: grief, euphoria, fatherhood, friendship, the liturgic pull of a club at the right moment. House beats, choral swells, Shabaka Hutchings on flute, a choir singing a melody Idehen himself composed. The kind of album that makes you want to wave your arms in the air and then call your mum. The ride here wasn't quiet. ‘Mum Does The Washing' began life as a Twitter thread, set to Parment's spacious beats, went viral, earned Idehen support from Jamz Supernova, Huw Stephens and Robbie Williams (yes, really), packed out Glastonbury and Green Man, and landed him a spot on Later… with Jools Holland. Sold-out Jazz Café dates followed. A headline European and UK tour runs through spring, culminating at KOKO in London on 23rd April. To mark the album, Joshua and Ludvig have put together this mix of music to bring joy. Not one shade of it either. There's unbridled joy (Peter, Björn & John, a Kanye recommendation from a different time), celebratory joy (“a today I don't have to fight kind of joy,” as Ludvig puts it, via Primal Scream), defiant joy (Kendrick, for the days you will have to fight, but you'll pull through). Soul II Soul shows up to preach and repeat. James Brown is just kind of everything. Caribou injects the dance floor with melancholy and joy at the same time, which is basically the whole project in a nutshell. He describes the scale of the rally setup, including flying dozens of line arrays to cover an enormous crowd, and then later connects that experience to one of the core themes of the episode: fundamentals matter more than fancy gear.The main conversation is sparked by a viral-style audio story: a blind listening test where people could not reliably tell the difference between audio passed through standard copper wire, a banana, or wet mud. In ancient astrology, eclipses were viewed as omens of the death or downfall of prominent people. In this episode, I want to go over some examples from recent history and current news that demonstrate that this ancient observation is still true to this day. I recorded this on February 19, 2026, right as the big news hit that Prince Andrew was just arrested in connection with the Jeffrey Epstein files, which happened only two days after a solar eclipse in Aquarius. We'll dive into what I define as "eclipse season," a roughly month-long period that starts about a week before the first eclipse and ends about a week after the second eclipse. During this time, it is incredibly common to see prominent or political figures suffering some sort of public downfall. We are going to walk through several recent examples of this, from the arrest of Jeffrey Epstein in 2019, to the collapse of Sam Bankman-Fried's crypto company FTX, to the raid on Sean "Diddy" Combs' mansions. We will also look at how this applies to major historical events, including the deaths of Princess Diana and Pope John Paul I, as well as the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. But as we'll discuss, a downfall is not always permanent. Because an eclipse is a conjunction, it represents the closing of one cycle, but also the laying of the seeds or foundations for something completely new to grow.
