Searching For Authenticity

Far too often we are told that we have to do things a certain way with regard to our faith in order for them to be valid or legitimate. But does scripture actually back that up or is that insecure people calling themselves "Christians" trying to validate themselves or possibly a church trying to validate its existence in the community? Join me on this little stroll through the search for an authentic faith and where it may be best to practice that faith.

The key to meaningful change is admitting that there's a problem in the first place. Join us as we examine ourselves and the church for where we're getting it wrong and how we can do better.

We’ve all heard a lot of misleading messages about God’s anger because it’s usually taken that God is angry at people and wants to wipe out the disobedient ones. But what if God really, really loves us and just wants to wipe out the things in us that don’t produce any “fruit” and not us? Maybe what God really wants to do is take out the trash in our lives so that only the good and fruitful stuff remains.

Our society is in the midst of stressing to the point of fracture and it seems like there’s just no peace to be found but where the Holy Spirit is, there is peace to be found...let’s find it together!!

A look at our response to what’s going on in our world in the midst of a global pandemic but more importantly what’s going on in our hearts.

Change isn’t always easy and sometimes we just have to allow ourselves the space to process what’s going on and prepare ourselves for what the next season may bring.

Even Superman had his vulnerability, so what makes you think that you have to be so strong for everyone else that you can’t acknowledge your own brokenness and pain?
