Two of Susan Guthrie's greatest passions, divorce and family law, and the world of AI, come together in this episode, and the result is something truly powerful. Post-separation abuse is something far too many people experience, but the legal system still struggles to understand. Many people assume that once someone leaves an abusive relationship, the danger is over. But in reality, the abuse often changes form. It can show up as litigation abuse, weaponized communication, or ongoing coercive control that leaves survivors feeling like they are still walking on eggshells, even in family court. Susan is joined by Anne Wintemute, co-founder and CEO of AimeeSays, an AI tool built specifically to support survivors of relationship abuse. AimeeSays helps survivors document their experiences, identify patterns of coercive control, and organize their story in a way that professionals and courts can actually understand. This is the bridge that has been missing. What You Will Learn Why the legal system tends to focus on isolated incidents rather than patterns of behavior, and why that gap can be so damaging for survivors How documenting patterns of coercive control, rather than individual incidents, can change the way a story is received in court Why survivors often struggle to tell their story clearly, and how trauma directly impacts testimony How AI technology is helping survivors organize their experiences and communicate what they have lived through in ways that courts and professionals can actually understand Why legal professionals need to know about tools like AimeeSays and how it can help them help their clients Golden Nuggets Leaving an abusive relationship does not always end the abuse. For many survivors, the abuse simply changes form, often showing up as litigation abuse, coercive control, and weaponized communication during and after divorce. One of the greatest challenges survivors face in family court is that the system tends to look for isolated incidents, while abuse often exists as a pattern of behavior over time. Being able to document those patterns clearly can make an enormous difference in how a story is understood. Technology may finally be helping to bridge that gap. Tools like AimeeSays are helping survivors organize their experiences, recognize patterns, and communicate what they have been living through in ways that courts and professionals can better understand. Are "coming soon" listings putting the real estate industry at risk? In this episode, James Dwiggins and Keith Robinson sit down with Art Carter, CEO of CRMLS, and Ed Zorn, VP and General Counsel, to unpack one of the most heated and misunderstood topics in real estate right now. From "coming soon" listings to private listings, MLS rules, and seller choice, this conversation breaks down what's actually happening behind the scenes and why it matters more than most agents realize. They also explore the growing concern that current industry trends could trigger Department of Justice scrutiny and what that could mean for agents, brokerages, and the future of cooperation. If you think this is just another industry debate, think again. Stay ahead of the market with insights from Zillow's Consumer Trends Report. This annual research breaks down what buyers and sellers are actually doing and what they expect from their agents. Links mentioned during the episode: https://youtu.be/lYOUsPGOTd0 Learn more about CRMLS on LinkedIn - YouTube - Instagram - Facebook and online at go.crmls.org. With 55% of buyers being repeat buyers, yet only 13% using their previous agent again, the message is clear: past performance doesn't guarantee future loyalty. Even more telling, nearly half of buyers and over half of sellers hire the first agent they contact. Today's clients prioritize pricing strategy, negotiation expertise, and a seamless, organized offer process. If you want to position yourself as the agent they choose in 2026, start with the data. In this episode of The Kriya Yoga Podcast, Kriya Yoga teacher Donelle Mason offers a comprehensive introduction to Samadhi, the highest state of meditation described in classical yoga. This talk was recorded during the Online Kriya Yoga Equinox Retreat and presents a clear, practical understanding of how Samadhi develops through consistent spiritual practice. Donelle explains the eight limbs of yoga, including the importance of the yamas and niyamas as the foundation for meditation. She also breaks down the stages of Samadhi, moving from concentration on gross objects like breath and mantra to subtler states of awareness, including bliss (Ananda) and the sense of “I-am-ness” (Asmita). Common meditation challenges such as mental distractions, attachment to bliss, and the experience of blankness are also addressed in detail. Listeners will gain insight into key yoga philosophy concepts from the Yoga Sutras, including abhyasa (practice), vairagya (non-attachment), and the role of disciplined effort in achieving deeper states of meditation. This episode also highlights how Kriya Yoga integrates meditation, action (karma yoga), devotion (bhakti yoga), and knowledge (jnana yoga) into a complete path toward self-realization. Whether you are new to meditation or a long-time practitioner, this episode provides practical guidance on how to deepen your practice, overcome obstacles, and move toward direct experience of Samadhi. -

Pete and Debbie Ochs, longtime entrepreneurs and leaders in faith-driven business, share how God reshaped their understanding of money, work, and purpose over decades of walking with Him. Pete began his career pursuing success through hard work and financial gain, while Debbie brought a steady foundation of faith and generosity from her upbringing. Through seasons of business growth, financial pressure, and personal conviction, God led them to see that everything they had was not theirs to own, but to steward. That shift transformed how they built companies, gave generously, and ultimately released control. Pete is the founder of Capital III, an investment and operating company focused on building businesses that create economic, social, and spiritual capital, and the founder of Enterprise Stewardship, which helps leaders build high-impact businesses rooted in purpose and long-term flourishing. From creating jobs inside prisons to establishing a stewardship trust for their business, Pete and Debbie's work now reflects a commitment to building economic, social, and spiritual impact. Along the way, they learned to set a finish line, cap their lifestyle, and follow the Holy Spirit in both planned and spontaneous generosity, deepening their understanding of risk and surrender. Explore how surrendering ownership can reshape your decisions, relationships, and long-term vision for Kingdom impact. Major Topics Include: Stewardship versus ownership in God's economy Surrender as foundation of faithful stewardship Integrating faith and business without compartmentalization Creating economic, social, and spiritual capital Setting a lifestyle finish line for generosity Shifting mindset from accumulation to outward impact Listening to the Holy Spirit in everyday generosity Practicing intentional and spontaneous giving rhythms Involving family in generosity and stewardship decisions Using business as a platform for Kingdom impact QUOTES TO REMEMBER Pete Ochs “Stewardship is not waving the white flag. It's not giving up. It's coming to the understanding that the Creator of the universe wants to come alongside you and co-create with you to change the world.” “My 30s were about success, my 40s were about significance, and my 50s were about surrender.” “When we really live as stewards, it's not 2 million is mine and the rest is God's. It's zero-one hundred. It's all His.” “The question is not a net worth number. The question is a lifestyle number. How much should you be paid to manage what God has entrusted to you?” “You cannot violate God's principles and expect Him to bless it. When you live according to His principles, He will take care of you.” “Business, I believe, is the most powerful platform to change the world.” “We try to create economic capital, love people relationally, and be ready to share the hope we have with gentleness and respect.” Debbie Ochs “Our mindset changed from what we can get to what we can do for others.” “We want the Holy Spirit to lead us. When He prompts, we want to act.” “Generosity begets generosity.” “We didn't want to just write checks. We wanted to be involved, to know people, and to walk alongside them.” “Communication is key. You have to share what you're learning and how God is working in your life.” “Involve your family in giving. That's how the next generation begins to see and live it.” “We started looking at everything differently when our focus turned outward instead of inward.” “When God gives you opportunities, you have to be ready to respond in that moment.” LINKS FROM THE SHOW Enterprise Stewardship Capital III YoungLife Crown Financial Ministries Generous Giving (see our interviews with cofounders Todd Harper and David Wills and CEO, April Chapman) National Christian Foundation (see our interview with President Emeritus, David Wills) BIBLE REFERENCES FROM THE SHOW 1 Peter 3:15 | Reason for Your Hope “But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you, yet do it with gentleness and respect.” Galatians 2:20 | Crucified with Christ “I have been crucified with Christ.

In this episode, Leandra Witchwood and Elyse Welles explore the importance of cultural attribution in witchcraft and why naming the roots of a practice matters. What does it look like when a third grade STEM teacher from Houston uses comedy, creativity, and storytelling to pull back the curtain on the real life of an educator and build a community that refuses to feel alone? In this episode of Aspire to Lead, Joshua Stamper sits down with educator, podcaster, and doctoral student Brandon Jenkins to talk about the power of authentic storytelling in education and why laughter might be one of the most underrated tools in our profession. Brandon shares how social media became a lifeline for connection in a career that can feel deeply isolating, and how his comedic content gives educators permission to laugh at the hard stuff while sparking real conversations with people outside of education who had no idea what teachers actually face every day. He also unpacks why representation in schools goes far beyond skin tone and covers zip code, access to programs, arts, technology, and the profound impact of seeing yourself reflected in the adults who show up for you. The conversation goes deeper as Brandon shares his doctoral research on trust within Black and Brown communities in education, the inspiration behind his podcast Teaching in Color now in its third season, and a simple but powerful leadership challenge to sit down, grab a journal, and write your own story before someone else writes it for you. About Brandon Jenkins Brandon Jenkins is a 3rd grade Math and Science teacher in Houston, Texas and the creator of the Teaching in Color podcast, a platform dedicated to amplifying diverse voices and perspectives in education. As an educator, Brandon is passionate about creating engaging learning environments that empower students and highlight the cultural experiences that shape how communities interact with schools. Beyond the classroom, Brandon is a nationally recognized education content creator known for his humorous and insightful takes on teacher life, education policy, and classroom culture. Through his social media platform @allabout.brandon, he has built a large community of educators by blending storytelling, satire, and honest conversations about the realities of teaching. Brandon is also pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, where his research focuses on how families from historically underserved communities perceive and engage with the education system. Through his teaching, scholarship, and digital storytelling, he works to reimagine a more equitable and culturally responsive future for education. Years ago, during my clinical internship at a VA hospital, I worked with a man who had spent most of his adult life in prison. When he was finally released, the vastness of his freedom terrified him so much that his only desire was to go back to his cell. In this episode, we are going to explore why human beings are so deeply wired to choose familiar misery over the terrifying unknown, and how to finally step out of the invisible cages we build for ourselves. Many believers have a time of doubt once a while. It’s not a good feeling, is it? We may wish we had the faith of those men and women in the Bible: steadfast, immovable, faith as solid as a rock. Well today on A NEW BEGINNING, Pastor Greg Laurie points out that even some our biblical heroes encountered doubt. In fact, we’ll focus on one in particular today. But Pastor Greg draws the distinction between doubt and unbelief. We’ll see doubt is temporary, and can lead to a stronger faith. — Become a Harvest Partner today and join us in knowing God and making Him known through media and large-scale evangelism, our mission of over 30 years. Living Waters in Nashville, Tennessee, is a full-service coffee house as well as brewery, and its affinity for strong, well-articulated flavor runs through all the beverages they produce and serve. Recently, the brewery's Barrel-Aged Dyson Sphere (Construct IV) scored a 97 in Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine®—garnering the highest score in the category—so, naturally, we wanted to know more. That success stems in part from cofounder Ryan McCay's deep passion for barrel-aged stouts and barleywines, and he uses the brewery's proximity to major bourbon and whiskey producers to his advantage. While Living Waters may be small, and the releases are somewhat limited, they've nonetheless built a deep stock of casks with aging stock now averaging around three years old, and they take a brand-agnostic, flavor-first approach to building blends from these various components. At the same time, their counterintuitive approach to adding coffee to stout may surprise you. In this episode, McCay discusses: building different base recipes to fit specific whiskey casks blind blending for a brand-agnostic, flavor-first approach barrel selection to maximize desirable flavors off-gassing coffee to avoid green-pepper notes in beer cinnamon addition methods that vary by variety And more.
