Season 1 finale.  Let's end the season with a doozy, shall we? Today actor/comedian David Futernick picks The White Album and we get to wax poetic about some of the most timeless music ever made.  Thank you to all who have listened to this season of the podcast and checked out my new album Jamz!   Hit me up on socials and let me know if you'd like a season 2 of the podcast! Peace!

Episode 7 - Rockin The Suburbs with GOLDHOUSE

You never know where this podcast can go. I wouldn't have taken Grant, or as the world knows him,  GOLDHOUSE, as a Ben Folds guy.  But, I guess that's the beauty of music.  Everyone has their own deep down favorites, for whatever reason,  and that's what this podcast is all about.  So there I was, listening to a Ben Folds album for the first time while more importantly getting to hear why it's so important to Grant, who btw, is a mega talented producer, artist, and songwriter. Without further ado, episode 7. Please don't forget to subscribe, rate, and leave a comment! Thanks for listening!

Episode 6 - Acid Rap with Aaron Boma

Today we delve into the Chance The Rapper mixtape slash album that catapulted the midwest rapper/singer into superstardom.  Today's guest, Aaron Boma, is highly qualified to discuss such matters, repping the Chicago area as well, so this one hits close to home for him.  For me, this was another first time front to back listen. Let's take a trip down memory lane....

Episode 5 - Radiohead "Kid A" with Ryan Lipman

Ryan Lipman knows sound.  A fantastic mixing engineer who mixed all of my new album Jamz (shameless plug), it should come of no surprise he chose such a layered sonic journey as Radiohead's Kid A.  We go back to his days as a college kid in Texas, where he first discovered this life changing album.  For me? This was the first time I ever listened to this album front to back. Shocking, I know.  Please rate, review, and subsribe, and enjoy!

Episode 4 - N.E.R.D "In Search Of..." with Nicky Blitz

This episode feels like the first album that's been on the show that isn't widely considered a traditional "classic".  But for those who know, know.  My guest this week is Nicky Blitz, not only a good homie, but a dope artist and someone who I have some music coming out with soon.  Nicky is a wild guy, so this convo takes some hilarious turns, I would say this one is for MATURE audiences only please and thank you.   Without further ado, episode 4! Please help the show by rating it and leaving a review!

Episode 3 - Paul Simon's Graceland with Shiben

Who better to have on than Shiben after the release of my new album, Jamz?  Shiben Bhattacharya, or as we call him Shiben, is a creative force and has contributed musically to so many of my songs it would take too long to list.  Shiben picked Paul Simon's Graceland and for the first time  I start to realize what this show could really be. Shiben draws back on so many experiences you can really feel the power of this album. For me, it was the first time I ever front to back listened to this album, so there's two very different perspectives as we deep dove.

Episode 2 - Channel Orange with Dylan Reese

Frank Ocean's classic debut Channel Orange just turned 9 so what better way to celebrate it than sing its praises for an hour. Dylan and I are good friends and have done close to 100 podcasts together so there's some good pod chemistry. For those who don't know, Dylan is a fantastic artist, go peep his music. This was a fun episode, and another album I knew well, so we both were able to go down memory lane a bit.  Enjoy!

Episode 1 - The Low End Theory with Pel

Considering it was the first album I ever owned, I don't think there could be a more fitting episode 1 than The Low End Theory.  My guest today is my longtime friend Tom Pelisson, or as we call him Pel.  For over 25 years, Pel and I have been hanging out and obsessing over music. This is one album we both hold in the highest of regard.  We even saw A Tribe Called Quest live together.  If this feels like two old friends talking it's because it is.  I learned a ton about the format of the show as I went so stick with me. Enjoy!
