This is a special episode for many reasons. We are talking about how to properly manage small acreage properties. Many landowners in the southeast own less than 100 acres, which may seem like a lot. but when it comes to the home range of whitetails and turkeys it isn't very big. We discuss what can be done on smaller properties to insure that it is optimal for wildlife forage, security, and procreation. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

On Episode 123 of the Guest Speaker Series, we are joined by R&B sensation Dylan Reese exclusively at The Record Co. in Boston. Originally from Chicopee, MA and now residing in LA, Dylan has steadily been on the rise within his artistry as he's toured the country multiple times, and worked with legends such as Musiq Soulchild, Twista, Paul Wall, and additionally opened for Jon Bellion on his first ever tour. Dylan, who used to be a rapper, discusses his lifelong love for R&B music and explains how he's finally making the kind of music he truly always wanted to make, especially on the heels of his latest full-length release ‘EARTHQUAKE' which received critical acclaim. Dylan shares plenty of his musical journey, but also drops a ton of gems and free game for independent artists who are trying to make a profitable and livable career in the music industry, something Dylan has accomplished for years. His goal is to pay it forward and provide as much advice for artists as possible. Mike & Dylan also have a thorough and enlightening conversation about the beauty of being told “no”, and the need to have irrational confidence within the industry, as well as what proper “artist etiquette” looks like from multiple aspects. Dylan also discusses a variety of topics, including his college basketball career and being coined “the R&B Luka Doncic”, why he's never gotten his driver's license, a surprising fact about Channing Tatum, a crazy story about a night in a Minneapolis motel, and so much more. Abstract is a recording artist on his first nationwide tour, Virtual Reality, alongside Ryan Oakes and Dylan Reese. Back in Spring of 2018, he played his music in Europe, 6,000+ miles away from his home on About Time, An International Tour with Yonas. Born in New Jersey and raised in Jackson, Wyoming he started playing music very young. He had always been artistic, loved to draw and write as well. Early on he found out he was adopted at birth and thought of it as a blessing because he could create who he wanted to be and   not feel tied to following the footsteps of anyone. Abstract did homeschool for a year so that he could focus on competitive skiing but with time he found his true passion was for creating and went all in on music. With years of trial and error, his studio became an environment for him to hone in on his craft. Even with all his producers living overseas, there has been a constant line of communication that is running 24 hours a day. No one is left behind and if he eats, they all do as well. He has spent the past two years on his next him album that will incorporate a short film. As creatives, he believes we can express ourselves through any medium as long as we’re not afraid to put time into learning them. In this episode he discusses the ability to fund his ideas is his definition of success, flow with the universe and don’t force things, taking inspiration from everything & creating something of our own and treating time as the opportunity. - Please leave a 1 sentence review on the iTunes Podcast App with your honest feedback. It's time to slow down and get a bit reflective. Inspired by Peter Capaldi's "farewell tour" at New York Comic Con, Deb, Lynne, and Tansy take a thoughtful look back at Peter Capaldi's tenure. We discuss the impact he's had on the show, his legacy and examine his character arc as the 12th Doctor. Sure, we know he has one more story before the serious postmortem's begin, but we'd rather do this while we can still smile! What do you think Peter has brought to the role and, more importantly, what do you think his imprint will be on the show? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think! ^D Also covered: Lynne added Downtime by Dylan Reese to her Doctor Who Library AND a delightful Rory Funko to her AF collection. Tansy is (justifiably!) excited about her podcasts Frankentastic and Sheep Might Fly. Deb was so delighted by Peter Capaldi at New York Comic Con she made it this week's topic! Episode 28: If you told Dylan Reese during his senior year of high school that he’d eventually quit basketball, his lifelong passion, in order to pursue music… he’d call you crazy. Born and raised in Chicopee, MA he was fortunate to have two supportive parents backing him in whatever his interests were. Dylan’s work ethic and dedication towards basketball got him the opportunity to play at the collegiate level for Regis College and along the way he began making music. Club promoters and venues began contacting him about future shows and with the realization he could only pursue the music or the game of basketball, he opted to pursue his new found passion for creating music. After having an eventful 2016 from taking his soundcloud account to over 1 million plays and playing shows across the country… it's safe to say he made the right decision. Learn about living without regrets, focusing on one specific goal at a time, being relentless & not taking “no” for an answer, why he’s been completely sober all of his life, people focusing on what they are vs. what they aren’t & the importance of love on this week’s episode. — Subscribe to our YouTube Channel for new interviews (and more) weekly: http://bit.ly/2zprpon Follow us on Soundcloud: http://bit.ly/2hcSBws Subscribe to iTunes: http://apple.co/2yE0u9l Follow us on social media: Instagram: http://bit.ly/2j82AHF Follow Bobbbaaaay on social media: Instagram: http://bit.ly/2Ap24ce Twitter: http://bit.ly/2hj6Ljm
