Life moves pretty fast. Despite that, we all found times for a few games that we weren't playing for other podcasts this month, and time enough to sit down to talk about them. This year has seen Jen finally coming to appreciate baseball, and by extension baseball video games in MLB The Show 23. Kyrie has fallen for familiar comforts under friendly names by plugging her friends into Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth. And Six has been playing Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker and frowning at it... and reading the announcement for Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, and SCREAMING at it. In chronological order, our music is 8bit23 by Koichi Morita, The Real Thing from MLB The Show 19 by Cook Classics featuring Outasight, Shooting Stars by Bag Raiders, The Handed Down Name from Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth by Yuzo Koshiro, Prelude - Tales from Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker by Masayoshi Soken, and then a reprise of 8bit23 by Koichi Morita. You can find us on Twitter at @jbu3 for Jen, @KyrieAPage for Kyrie, and @sixdettmar for Six.

Chelsea Perkins joins Mikey Jayy on KGUP PRESENTS to talk about her new music and her new sound since joining the team at 83 Sound and discuss how Covid-19 has affected her family and personal life. KGUP FM Emerge Radio has been a friend of Pop Artist, Chelsea Perkins since 2013 when we played her award winning single "Forbidden Fruit". Fast forward to 2020, Chelsea is now with her new label 83 Sound and she has released several amazing songs. We currently have "Right Now" and "Fanny Pack" on rotation. About Chelsea Perkins Chelsea Perkins is an American singer, songwriter and producer from California. She is known for her eclectic look, undeniably unique vocals mixed with her playful alt-pop sound. Chelsea Perkins released her debut EP You’re Busy independently in 2015. She made her major label debut in 2016 by releasing EDM singles California Dreamin with producer Fontaine Ivory through Armada Music and Night & Day with music duo Bormin through ElektraFrance (Warner Music France). Chelsea is currently working with Outasight and Cook Classics on a new EP that showcases her natural sing song flow over multiple genres. KGUP PRESENTS discovered SANTINO when recording Artist and long time friend Chelsea Perkins ("Right Now" and AIMA Best Pop Song winner) recommended we check out a Hip Hop artist that goes by the name "SANTINO" of 83 Sound. Santino worked on the Production for Chelsea's song "Right Now" and we were pleasantly surprised to hear he released the songs, "Notorious" and "Rings" now playing on KGUP FM Emerge Radio. About SANTINO Santino Corleon is a rapper, songwriter and producer with a distinct voice from Cincinnati, Ohio. He released his first project ‘The Hangover’ and has traveled all over the country touring and opening for Method Man, Redman, J. Cole, Mac Miller, Big Sean, Machine Gun Kelly, Gucci Mane. In 2018 Santino toured his latest project ‘Therapy’ along side hip hop Artist Talib Kweli as well as Skyzoo. Now working on a new project with Cook Classics and Outasight, Santino is ready for the primetime. Inspired by his doubters, Santino has a chip on his shoulder and something to prove. He skillfully weaves his urgent vocals over absolutely monstrous beats alongside arena sized hooks. This is the music to take the world over to. Santino is ready to do just that. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/kgup-presents/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/kgup-presents/support

Label: Capitol 3546Year: 1973Condition: MLast Price: $18.00. Not currently available for sale. This is one of only two Raspberries singles that Capitol decorated with a picture sleeve... the other being their first chart single, which failed pretty miserably (peak: #86). The cool thing about the "Let's Pretend" sleeve, though, isn't the great band-member photos on the back, it's the rather incredible promotion taking place on the front! You can't read the small print in the accompanying scan, but basically, this was a contest to win a Raspberries "Rollswagen"--a Volkswagen Beetle decked out to look like a Rolls! There are oodles of time-capsule-worthy notes on the front, but my favorites are the following two "Far-Out Features":Quadrasonic 8-Track Stereo System! Outasight sound with 4 speakers by Car Tapes, Inc., of CaliforniaA Complete Library of 100 Capitol 8-Track Cartridges! Includes Beatles! Helen Reddy! Rick Springfield! Leon Russell! Many more favorites!By the way, this single is specially edited from a longer (3:42) album track. Note: The 45 is pristine Mint in all respects. The Near Mint sleeve has a touch of ringwear.

This week we pick the podcast right back up with artist Outasight. Instead of the traditional route, he found success through licensing his music and it has lead to platinum singles and more importantly success on his own terms. We talk about his upbringing living just outside NY, coming up in the open mic scene, discovering his sound and realizing a major label deal isn't everything you hoped for. We spend some of the intro saying goodbye to Nipsey Hussle. As an indie artist, I wanted to shed light on the practical ideas for his business that helped find him success.

Just a few years later his record “Tonight is the Night” went platinum and was featured in a Pepsi Commercial, the premier episode of X Factor and performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. In just a two year span he went from sleeping on fans couches to traveling the world to places like Australia, Abu Dhabi, France and England. People told him he would never make it to this level of success again but he never let it phase him. We talk about his weakness for always wanting to do things himself, spending $1 Million to work a record, letting failure motivate you, finding what makes you happy and following the #1 rule of never stopping once your find your passion on this week’s podcast. — Subscribe to our YouTube Channel for new interviews (and more) weekly: http://bit.ly/2zprpon Follow us on Soundcloud: http://bit.ly/2hcSBws Subscribe to iTunes: http://apple.co/2yE0u9l Follow us on social media: Instagram: http://bit.ly/2j82AHF Follow Bobbbaaaay on social media: Instagram: http://bit.ly/2Ap24ce Twitter: http://bit.ly/2hj6Ljm
