In class we discussed the last part of the Creed written at the Council of Constantinople in 381 AD. This was to proclaim orthodox Christian doctrine on the Holy Spirit as God, and affirm the Holy Trinity.

In this podcast Pastor Brad begins looking into the meanings behind the very important words of the Creed concerning Jesus as God.
In today's lesson we talk about the opening lines of the Creed and how important it is to understand God as Father as well as Almighty.
If you were asked, "Who is God?", could you give a thoughtful, meaningful answer. As Christians living in a pluralistic society we need to know just who is the God we worship. This is part 1 of several classes where we will be examining the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed and discovering why it has always stood as the symbol of Authentic Christian faith. We will look each week at discovering how the Creed reveals God to us as the Holy Trinity and consider why that is so important to this modern pluralistic society we are living in. Please make a comment or ask a question as we dialog about how to understand how God has revealed himself to the world. Remember, there are no dumb questions. All are welcome.
