Vested: a Service Puppy Parent Diary

When it comes to Halloween, we humans love to see our furry friends in costumes, but that doesn't always make for a fun experience for them. For service dogs in training and, really, for all pets, it's important to make Halloween a safe, fun, and pleasant experience for all. This episode is full of "howlaween" tips for puppy parents to service dogs in training and all pets! Alexis Baker from the Warrior Canine Connection shared all of her halloween tips, as well as her guidance on pitfalls to avoid during and after the spooky season!

Up until this episode, you’ve only heard me call our service puppy in training by “Puppy.” Today, I’m so excited to finally have the honor to share his real name with you. Before recently, I have not been allowed to share his official name with anyone or really even say it out loud. There’s a reason for that and in this episode I will explain how Puppy got his name and share more about the Warrior Canine Connection’s namesake program.
