Ken LaJoie and Cameron Watters have interesting double lives. By day, Ken & Cameron work in the Guitar QC department at Yorkville Sound. By night, Ken & Cameron are Double The Pleasure, a guitar and vocal duo based out of Durham Region in Ontario, Canada. Prior to the pandemic, Double The Pleasure gigged twice weekly. The two brought their custom curated sets of covers and originals across Ontario at local clubs, cafes, weddings, birthdays, anniversary, celebrations of life, baby showers, indoors and outdoors - and even had a regular spot on their local Radio Station, 94.9, The ROCK.Soon after Ken & Cameron dropped their first original, Living with Kind Spirits last January, Double The Pleasure’s gigs were put on hold. We spoke to Ken & Cameron (or Double The Pleasure) to hear more about Yorkville Sound Life and how a self managed, self-booked duo, were able to move fast and continue to keep performing live gigs in a dangerous time.
