A special crossover lesson of Detentions and Dragons!!! Recently, Josh and Matt were invited by DM Mitch and DM Neal to be guests on the Dungeon Master's Block! The subject: using real world places as inspiration for your D&D creations. Our crossover lesson includes "the meat" (the discussion portion) of DM's block episode 162. For those of you unfamiliar with the DM's Block, it is the podcast where the hosts talk about the most important person in the game, the dungeon master. The only person capable of playing god, killing characters, and lowering the egos of all the player. In practice, this means you will hear interviews and discussions with some of the most influential people in the RPG community! If you already are a subscriber to their podcast, this will be fun but nothing new. If you haven't listened to the podcast, I hope this will inspire you to go check out all that the DM's Block has to offer! Did these members of the greatest family friendly D&D network on the planet Earth help motivate you to be a more creative DM? Help them out by recommending Detentions and Dragons to a friend, teacher, or student. New listeners are the best way to help us grow as a podcast. Thanks again for all of your support! Hello team! Welcome to the first in another series of bonus episodes...Discussions. In this series, we bring a special guest into the cave and talk about topics that relate to Young Justice as an entire series. Because of that, there are spoilers for both seasons everywhere. Consider yourself warned. Today's guest is I-Hsien Sherwood from the fantastic podcast Total Party Thrill, which can be found over here. We are super thrilled to have I-Hsien visit us in the cave to talk about diversity and representation in Young Justice. ith this episode, we are also proud to welcome a new member to the Whelmed team. Neal Powell (he of the mighty beard) is stepping in to assist with editing! He, in fact, edited the episode you are listening to at this very moment. When not working in the cave, Neal can be found over on his native podcast, the DM's Block. As always, thanks for listening, and stay whelmed!
Joshua Lorimer, better known as Graek stops by the DM's Block to join DMs Mitch & Chris in a discussion about how failure in role playing can be fun....even...dare we say it....more fun than success! @SneakPodcast @Joshuathehippie Patreon @DMs_Block Facebook Stitcher iTunes dungeonmasterblock@gmail.com Intro Music in this episode is This track's license, Creative Commons Attribution, requires attribution.
