Watch Rabbi Whitman's Mining the Riches of the Parsha on Nasso, 2020. We discuss Birchat Kohanim - the Priestly Blessing, how to emulate God's Shalom - peace and completeness - especially as we fight racism today, how to listen to our brothers and sisters whose experiences and feelings may be so different from ours, with insights from an eloquent op-ed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, plus an insight from Rabbi David Stav on the Nesiim - the princes of each tribe in our Parsha, and how they demonstrate the type of honourable leadership we so much need today.

God's Shalom: A Future with Hope July 8, 2018 To My Beloved Church, I can’t begin to express my gratitude for the gift it has been to serve as a pastor on staff at Dayspring for the past six years. I cherish the love and faithfulness you have shown serving as our church family for all this time. This weekend we will be spending our time in a passage that may be familiar to many of you, but one that I believe when understood in its context can serve as a great encouragement for the people of God today. Jeremiah 29:10-14 reminds us that even in seasons of transition or hardship the Lord is faithful to restore, gather, and draw His people back to Him. In this passage we see a beautiful promise. Not one of quick fixes or of personal prosperity, but a promise for wholeness and hope in God’s future for His people. We believe in a faithful and loving God; a God who has a purpose for our lives, for our families, and for our church. This week as we dive deeper into God’s Word to experience God’s restoration and hope for us as a community. We can’t wait to witness what the Lord has prepared for us. In Loving Kindness,Nathan
