Chamado de “Amen Break”, o trecho se tornou o mais sampleado de que se tem notícia: mais de 3.000 composições, entre remixes e faixas originais, fazem uso desse loop (repetição instrumental). O trecho original está na faixa “Amen, Brother”, lançada em 1969 pelo grupo americano The Winstons. Trata-se de um cover da canção gospel Amen. E o baterista é Gregory C. Coleman. O sample foi amplamente utilizado no hip-hop dos anos 1980. E na música eletrônica dos anos 1990 foi fundamental para o surgimento de um gênero, o jungle.
