In 2010 Johns Hopkins University Press published her book, A Loving Approach to Dementia Care; Making Meaningful Connections with the Person Who Has Alzheimer’s Disease or Other Dementia or Memory Loss. Author Stephen Andriko shares his expert knowledge of the senior living community by navigating families as to when and how to find appropriate long term senior living and care. Eleven years into his career with the Marine Corps he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes which resulted in a medical separation from the Corps. After the military he became a highly successful sales and management executive in the Healthcare Industry. He is currently the Marketing Director for a memory care community in Sugar Land, Texas where he found his passion for senior care.
