Through Season 2 we've seen all of our student navigate mental and emotional health issues. Our final episode introduces Sara's story, which unveils a level of vulnerability about her issues that is inspiring. When you're not ok, it's hard to believe that you will be, or even that it's ok to not be ok. Sara's unlocked some hope through her faith and her community that's brought her out of the darkness, but also allowed others to get out, as well. Here's to hoping her story, and this entire season, has given you the hope you need.
We all have things to overcome. By the time you reach high school any number of circumstances, events or situations can happen to you, whether you asked for them or not. How you respond to these events is what shapes you most. For Belle Cool overcoming a family dynamic, mixed with her own fight for emotional health, has shaped her story today, but a certain anchor has held her through and brought her out stronger.
