Hello, A.L.L. Adult Ed Listeners! Cayla, here. What an incredibly sad day we had a week ago on December 11! At around 3 pm, an office in the upstairs of our school experienced a significant flood due to a burst pipe in the ceiling. Those of us working tried to catch the water in multiple buckets and trashcans. However, we were unable to stop the water. The situation quickly escalated to every level of the building. We even had the fire department come because the alarms were set off. We had to turn off all the power and water to the building to stop the water. Several ceilings collapsed. Thankfully, nobody got hurt. A crew is working hard to clean it up and repair the damage, but it will take a while. Unfortunately, our next couple of episodes will be delayed. We will have winter break until January 8. I hope to begin recording new segments then. I plan to get back on track in January and release extra episodes then. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! We will be back in 2019! -A.L.L. Adult Ed Thank you to Plastic by Design for supporting this podcast! Musical Track Credit: "Motivational" by Scott Holmes Music
