In this issue we talk to Tamela Mann about her triumphs and down falls and her latest project, Overcomer. How fitting of a title as we all push through the year. It's a reflection of our life and the things we deal with, trying to learn from those things, and doing what we can to overcome them. The person who is focused on knowing Jesus in a growing relationship is one who overcomes.
In this issue we chat with Dondré Whitfield about his book Male vs. Man and passion vs. purpose. He challenges us to recognize the power found in serving others.
Lecrae shares how he lost his religion, but found his faith along his restoration journey to true freedom.
Dee-1is breaking the cycle of negativity while striving to be real, righteous and relevant in everything he does.
Chilli is living her truth and walking in faith as God’s soldier.
@KevOnStage and @MrsKevOnStage talk life, love and the pursuit of happiness while keeping family first. #b2bmag
Kevin Olusola has a very interesting story about trusting God's plan for his life. He is best known as the beat boxer of the Grammy-winning vocal group Pentatonix. Growing up in the small town of Owensboro, Kentucky, Kevin began learning piano, cello and saxophone at an early age. He performed at Carnegie Hall twice as soloist on the cello and saxophone and graduated from Yale University where he was pre-med and majored in East Asian Studies. He spent 18 months in Beijing becoming fluent in Chinese as a part of his Yale fellowship. We caught up with Kevin just before the holiday season and Christmas tour to talk about balance, executing on priorities and using the Sabbath to recalibrate time with God.
