Welcome to Teachback Tuesday, where you'll hear some of the most popular episodes from previous seasons. This week's episode, "When An Adult Child is Struggling" was recorded during a thunderstorm. As the storm was raging outside in the background, I could imagine the storms raging in the hearts and minds of parents who are painfully navigating difficult events with their adult children. This episode is brief, and was not designed to cover every issue that could come up in the lives of adult children. It's a four-point list of things to consider if you are walking through a hard season with your adult child. Take some time after listening to this episode to pray for direction for your situation. Psalm 143:8 makes an excellent prayer pattern: "Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee." Welcome back to Build Your Bible Habit, where you can listen to a chapter of Proverbs in about five minutes. The life applications in Proverbs are so deeply valuable, our lives are enriched when we live what we learn from these gold mine chapters of scripture. Here's a pointed reminder for the day from Proverbs 29:9: "If a wise man contendeth with a foolish man, whether he rage or laugh, there is no rest." Do you have a dispute with a foolish person? Save your breath. It won't end reasonably, but usually ends without any gain. "There is no rest" when a wise person tries to reason with a foolish person. Sadly, the fool doesn't think there is a God, and so they have no motivation to follow biblical principles. Hold the argument. VISIT THE SHOP AT KEEP THE HEART! Send me a DM here (it doesn't let me respond), OR email me: imagineabetterworld2020@gmail.comI'm honored to introduce you all to: Satanic ritual abuse, mind control, and organized abuse survivor and overcomer, loving mother and devoted wife, artist, podcaster and host of her own podcast ‘Arise and Shine', founder of SHOUT for Help non-profit, facilitator for Relentless Hope, singer and songwriter, writer and blogger, videographer, advocate for future overcomers, author, speaker, videographer, written and spoken word poet, and advocate for current and future overcomers: Sharri BurggraafSharri's life is a testament to the transformative power of faith, resilience, and purpose. Born on Friday the 13th, 1957, in Dubuque, Iowa, to a Catholic family, Sharri's early years were marred by unimaginable trauma. Subjected to ritual abuse, mind control, child pornography, and sex trafficking, her childhood was stolen by multiple perpetrators, including her parents, a priest, a nun, and an elite network of businessmen. Under the guise of a "talented and gifted program," she was bussed from school to a free medical clinic where she endured torture-based mind control, electric shocks, medical experimentation, and psychological programming - deceptively framed as cancer research conducted by German scientists. Her father, a World War II veteran, was also ensnared in these sinister programs, and Sharri believes he was murdered to silence his attempts to escape, with threats used to keep her enslaved. These experiences were designed to fracture and control, yet within her, a spark of resilience refused to be extinguished. Diagnosed in the early 1990s with Dissociative Identity Disorder she embarked on a courageous journey of recovery. Her path was not linear nor easy, but was a winding road marked by pauses to raise her children and moments of profound dedication to healing. As a founding member of Dissociative Writers, and a facilitator for Relentless Hope, Sharri also runs support groups and writing workshops, including her upcoming Project J.U.S.T.I.C.E. training initiative for survivor-clinicians, law enforcement, and advocates. Her work with Relentless Hope aligns with her heart for survivors, emphasizing their value, collective power, and right to be believed. As a beacon of light for survivors, Sharri challenges the stigma and disbelief surrounding ritual abuse and mind control. She confronts the societal denial that often compounds survivors' pain, advocating for awareness of human trafficking and the interconnectedness of ritual abuse and mind control with multigenerational abuse. Her mission is not to rescue single-handedly but to collaborate with others, amplifying voices and fostering hope for those still trapped in darkness.Sharri stands as living proof that one can emerge from the depths of trauma to shine brightly, guiding others toward their own liberation. Her journey reminds us that even in the face of unimaginable evil, the human spirit can reclaim its power, rewrite its story, and inspire a world in need of hope. To every survivor, Sharri's voice echoes: You are not alone. If I can escape, so can you.CONNECT WITH SHARRI: Website: https://ariseandshineafterabuse.com/Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/36X5N0DuOl4xTabqDhKZIITikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@sharriburgCONNECT WITH EMMA / THE IMAGINATION: YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@imaginationpodcastofficialRumble: https://rumble.com/c/TheImaginationPodcastEMAIL: imagineabetterworld2020@gmail.com OR standbysurvivors@protonmail.comMy Substack: https://emmakatherine.substack.com/BUY ME A COFFEE: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/theimaginationAll links: https://direSupport the show

Digital peer pressure is a real thing, and it's creating a chaotic way of life for many. From seeking validation to comparing ourselves, the online world has become the modern day Wild West. Point. Shoot a video. Post it for the world. Repeat. Joining me in this episode is a fellow Bible-loving sister friend, Quortney Jernigan from Running Redeemed, a ministry that Quortney started to help women learn to study their Bibles. We're examining the effects of digital peer pressure on women, children, relationships, and then we're wrapping it up with a brief discussion on risks vs. benefits. This episode would make a great study topic in a small group discussion. Save it and share it! Date: July 20, 2025 In this episode of the Overcomer series, we're talking about one of the most essential parts of your spiritual armor—the Breastplate of Righteousness. Straight from Ephesians 6, this message will challenge and encourage you to guard your heart with the righteousness that comes from God. What does righteousness really mean? It's not about being perfect. It's about being positionally made right with God through faith in Jesus (justification), and then choosing to practically live right through obedience and devotion (sanctification). When you wear the breastplate, you protect yourself from shame, temptation, and the lies of the enemy—and you're reminded that your heart belongs to Christ.

Welcome back to chapter 16 on Build Your Bible Habit. Every chapter of Proverbs includes life instructions that help us to handle matters wisely (Prov. 16:20). The Word of God is sufficient to guide us in every aspect of our lives, but we need to know what it says in order to follow the guidance. Do you trust God so much with your life that you pray for direction and then only want His will? "Thy will be done" is an essential part of the prayer pattern that Christ left us in Matthew 6:9-13. Proverbs 16:3 is another way of saying, "Thy will be done." When we commit our works to the Lord, He makes us stable, secure, and steadfast. "Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established." (Proverbs 16:3) Building your Bible habit with a daily Proverb will increase your wisdom and understanding as you yield your plans to God and apply His Word to your life. Welcome to Teachback Tuesday, where you'll hear some of the most popular episodes from previous seasons. I blame the beauty queen in the waiting room. She prompted this podcast. We were talking about things in general when she suddenly inserted that she was a former beauty queen. It was such an odd insert that it confused me at first, but as I continued to listen, I heard the voice of insecurity in the background. I don't remember inviting insecurity into our conversation. Insecurity is a creepy beast that preys on our vulnerabilities. Whether we're frequently putting ourselves down or elevating ourselves on pedestals, insecurity is the driving force behind the self-absorption. There are ways we can overcome this unhelpful habit. Let's consider five suggestions in this episode. The Struggle is Spiritual Series: Overcomer Date: July 6, 2025 Church: Life Church Episode Description: In this episode of the Overcomer series, we explore one of the most important truths every believer must understand: the struggle is spiritual. Based on Ephesians 6:10–17, Pastor [Name] unpacks the reality of spiritual warfare and how God has equipped us with His full armor to stand strong against the enemy's attacks. Our battle isn't against people—it's against spiritual forces of darkness. And you can't fight a spiritual battle with natural weapons. This message reveals how the enemy operates—through deception, destruction, and determination—but more importantly, how you can stand firm through God's power, truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and His Word. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, under attack, or just hungry to grow in your faith, this episode is a call to wake up to the unseen war and rise as an overcomer. Key Scriptures: Ephesians 6:10–17 John 10:10 1 Peter 5:8 2 Corinthians 11:14 Luke 10:18

Welcome back to Build Your Bible Habit, where you can listen to a chapter of Proverbs in about five minutes. What we gain in this daily habit is priceless! Whenever we mishandle a situation, it is due to either a lack of wisdom or the failure to apply wise principles. Wisdom helps us to make better choices and decisions. God wants to help us to become wiser, but we have to turn away from our own self-directed living and trade it for God's direction. Here's a great reminder verse for the week from Proverbs 1:23: "Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you." Have you ever felt like a person or a people group deserve punishment, but you don't? There was a man in scripture like that. His name was Jonah, and he lacked mercy but expected to receive it. Are we like Jonah? Sometimes I think we're more like the bad actors in the Bible than the good ones. A careful study of the book of Jonah reveals several common problems. It's easy to point out Jonah's faults, but he really was a lot like us. We want people to forgive us when we're wrong, but we may not be so willing to show them the same kind of mercy. Let's study four lessons from the book of Jonah. My guest, Lieutenant Colonel Leslie Chandler, is a chaplain in the Georgia National Guard. She returns to share her way of life interview, focusing on what God imparted during her husband's fight with COVID-19 and after he passed away.Having the love of her life pass away from COVID was devastating. God brought Psalm 23 to mind again and again. Apart from grieving her loss, God taught her more about Himself and more about her through each verse of Psalm 23. Listen to the end of this episode to hear Leslie's challenge. Welcome back to Build Your Bible Habit! The next five minutes in Proverbs chapter 17 will increase your wisdom and strength, if you apply what you learn. Daily Proverbs are to the soul what powerful nutrients are to the physical body: life-changing. Here's a verse for your week: "The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with." (Proverbs 17:14) Practice it: The next time you sense a conversation is turning into an argument, "leave off contention." You don't have to argue, and the discussion can continue when both sides have cooled off. Learn to recognize "the beginning of strife" and don't keep talking past that point. Pause. Every person alive in 2020 was impacted by COVID-19 in some form or fashion. My guest, Lieutenant Colonel Leslie Chandler, was no exception. She serves as a chaplain in the Georgia National Guard.Married twenty years and then having to navigate a divorce during a deployment to Afghanistan prior to COVID was a difficult challenge.Leslie found joy again when she reconnected with the love of her life, Greg. They enjoyed almost four years of marriage before COVID impacted her husband. Two weeks of a health roller coaster nightmare. Good days followed by bad days. Leslie shared, “I knew the second he [Greg] died. I could feel life leave him. And I could literally feel life leave me.”She already knew God's presence, but He poured it into her in a way she hadn't experienced before. She was an empty vessel, and God poured in His love.Memorable quotes from Leslie Chandler:· “The chaplain can't be going through trauma in the war zone because all of the trauma came to me.”· “One of the things that chaplains sometimes struggle with is they can't relate to soldiers on a very personal level because not many chaplains are divorced. Not many chaplains have endured rejection.”· “I wouldn't wish it upon anybody, but the revelation of God that I've experienced in the last four years I would wish on everyone.”Bible verses:· Psalm 125:2· Isaiah 6:1· Isaiah 6:8· Leslie's fight verse is Philippians 4:6-7Send me a COMMENT or QUESTION!THANK YOU FOR LISTENING! Welcome to Replay Wednesday, where you'll hear the most popular episodes from previous seasons. This week's episode, "Did God Answer Your Prayer?" was downloaded thousands of times. Many people wonder why God supposedly "didn't answer," but is that accurate? If the answer to our prayers is according to God's will, things may turn out differently than how we prayed. If we really mean it when we pray, "Thy will be done," then we must accept that God's will may or may not match our prayer request. "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." It's Monday, June 9th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Myanmar ceasefire extended to June 30 despite consistent violations The military junta ruling Myanmar announced last week that it would extend a temporary ceasefire, originally established in early April, to June 30, reports International Christian Concern. A massive earthquake struck the country in late March, killing 3,700 people and necessitating extensive relief work in hard-hit civilian areas. Opposition militias agreed to the extended ceasefire, creating hope for improved humanitarian conditions in June despite regular junta violations of the ceasefire up to now. In the first three weeks of the ceasefire alone, the U.N. tracked at least 172 junta attacks, including airstrikes and artillery assaults. The open-source research group Bellingcat documented that at least 22 villages were bombed by the junta in violation of the ceasefire agreement. Senator Cruz wants June to be “Life” month because Roe was overturned Last Thursday, Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas introduced a resolution to designate June as Life month to honor the anniversary of the Supreme Court's monumental Dobbs decision to overturn Roe v. Wade on June 24, 2022. CRUZ: “Three years ago, the Supreme Court made an historic advance in the cause of life in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. The court overturned Roe v. Wade, a flawed decision that for nearly 50 years enshrined one of the most disturbing notions in our constitutional history: that the Constitution somehow protects the right to end the life of an unborn child. “The fact is, Roe had nothing to do with the Constitution. It was invented whole cloth. It was the product of judicial activism, nine justices legislating from the bench. And that dangerous path took decades to correct. “Thankfully, in 2022, Roe was overturned. Dobbs did not impose any new policies from the bench. Instead, the task of protecting life falls where it always should have been -- not in the hands of unelected judges, but in the hands of the American people.” Canadian pastor imprisoned for objecting to Drag Queen Story Hour Calgary Pastor Derek Reimer, a street preacher who has had the courage to object to drag queen story hours for children in libraries, is back in jail in Alberta, Canada, reports the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. The conviction came after Reimer confronted a library manager over a Drag Queen Story Hour event, reports Rebel News. Wearing a GoPro, he walked into the library, spoke to a few attendees, and eventually found the room where the event was taking place. He told the manager the program was "pervert grooming" and warned, "We're going to make your name public and hold you accountable." Security escorted him out peacefully. Later, he posted the video online — along with the manager's name, workplace, and the library phone number — calling on viewers to voice their opposition. Only one person reportedly contacted her, but the librarian testified that she became afraid of what might happen next. She shut down her social media accounts and said Reimer's words left her anxious and fearful. The 38-year-old pastor was arrested and accused of breaching the house arrest condition of his sentence for simply participating in a public rally before his own court appearance. Pastor Reimer, who has now been jailed unjustly at the Calgary Remand Centre for over a month, has been treated badly. The judicial officials have blocked all visitors from seeing him, even the ones who were pre-approved. The only ones allowed to visit Pastor Reimer are his wife, Mona, and their baby. Derek's lawyer, Andrew Mackenzie, hopes that media attention on Reimer's unfair treatment will lead to a more positive outcome. Concerned Christian friends have been gathering for a rally of support at the Remand Centre every Sunday afternoon at 4:30pm, protesting Pastor Reimer's incarceration and bail denial. Please pray for justice to be served on Pastor Reimer's next court date on Monday, June 23rd. On June 5th, Pastor Reimer posted Psalm 138:7 on his Facebook page. It says, “Though I am surrounded by troubles, [God] You will protect me from the anger of my enemies, You reach out Your hand and the power of Your right hand saves me.” Learn more or donate to his legal defense at SavePastorDerek.com. The American Miracle movie tells story of former slaves fighting British The American Miracle movie debuts tonight in 1,000 theaters across America for three days only! Based on Michael Medved's book by the same name, it tells the story of God's hand in the founding of the United States. TESTIMONIAL 1: “I thought it was extraordinary just to see the hand of God on the United States of America. It's absolutely undeniable! The schools are doing everything they can to erase our history. We have an opportunity and an obligation to share the true history of the country.” Cameron Arnett, a black Christian actor known for films by the Kendrick Brothers like The Forge and Overcomer, said this. ARNETT: “I play Peter Salem. He gets introduced to George Washington as a hero of the Battle of Bunker Hill. What I love about this kind of stuff is that we are now unearthing a slew of black heroes that we weren't fortunate enough to grow up with, but that our children will be able to grow up with, because now the stories are being told.” Pastor Darnell Harper of New Covenant Temple was amazed. HARPER: “One of the aspects that touched me a lot was the African-American experience in the founding of our nation and in the battles that we fought, how there was a spirit of unity that we don't hear a lot about today.” The enthusiasm for The American Miracle movie is contagious. TESTIMONIAL 2: “Something that I've learned in the film tonight is that we cannot underestimate how great our God is and how powerful He is and how much He does govern the affairs of men.” Indeed, Daniel 4:17 says, “The Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on Earth.” Go to www.AmericanMiracleMovie.com, watch the trailer, click on the Tickets tab, type in your zipcode, and purchase tickets for tonight, Tuesday or Wednesday since it's only in the theaters for three days. 5 reasons Diana in Glendale, Arizona likes The Worldview Diana Munday in Glendale, Arizona wrote me at Adam@TheWorldview.com. Welcome back to Build Your Bible Habit, where you can listen to a chapter of Proverbs to grow in wisdom and knowledge. One of the most popular passages from Proverbs 3 is found in verses 5-6: "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6) It's one thing to know this passage. It's a lot harder to live it. As you're listening to Proverbs 3, carefully consider each verse and ask yourself this question: "Do I live by this, or just listen to it?" Bible application can be summed up in two words: live it. It is May 2025 and I am in a sling, recovering from rotator cuff repair surgery. This episode was recorded two days post-op, so my voice may be a little slurred at times as I tried to speak into a microphone while under the influence of strong pain medications! Why didn't I record before surgery? Because I was in conference season, which is the same as saying that I was living in airplanes and sleeping in hotels. But I wanted to provide an episode that would share some lessons that I have learned and continue to learn every time I face a new challenge--medical or otherwise. Are you going through a medical challenge? This episode is for you. Are you going through some other challenge? This episode will still be helpful. Things may be tough now, but you've been through tough things before and experienced the blessing of God turning trials into blessings. "Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit."
