On the docket this week is Leave the World Behind, Godzilla Minus One, Wonka, How To Be A Mob Boss, a Christmas episode preview, and more! Andrew then jumps into a quick lightning round where he covers The Fall of the House of Usher and Gen V before jumping into Godzilla Minus One which he absolutely gushes about. Needless to say, Kevin is chomping at the bit for this one to stream. Next up, Kevin takes the opportunity to speed rush his Christmas watches this year, all recommended by friend of the show, Ari. He quickly lists off his order of preference and explains where some of them falter. He then jumps into his own 8-Bit Christmas-ish story. Once Story Time with Kevin is over, Andrew talks through his history with Godzilla. This, of course, leads into his review of Godzilla Minus One, which he loved. It's a very human-centric film which is what Andrew really loves about it. After the Kaiju talk, Andrew wants to discuss How to Become a Mob Boss, but his notes are missing, so Kevin jumps in with a quick review of a couple of things he's in the middle of, Obliterated on Netflix and The Family Plan on Apple TV+. Neither film is perfect but he enjoys them enough to recommend them. Once Andrew gets his notes together, he gets back in on the action and finishes his deep dive into Mob Boss. The next discussion they get into is the Rebel Moon trailer. Between the trailer itself and the latest Rotten Tomatoes scores, the film looks dubious at best. That being said, both of the fellas are committed to watching it, so that's something right? Andrew then takes a quick break to talk about the latest trailer for The American Society of Magical Negroes, which has taken a film with some potential and has turned it into a rather disjointed romcom. The guys haven't completely given up on it yet, but the trust level on this one is very low... To close out the show, the guys quickly talk about contecnt creator KevOnStage and his new aventure with Attack on Titan. More importantly, though, is that his content is great anyways.
