#6 - HOW GOOD (do) you want to be?

Play Episode Listen Later Oct 20, 2019 12:55

Have you ever asked yourself, why am I failing? Or worse, why can’t I do it? The answer is: it’s not how good you are, it’s HOW GOOD YOU WANT TO BE. Seberapa sering sih kita meragukan ide sendiri? Mencari seribu-satu-alasan untuk menunda merealisasikannya? Well, if you’re one of us perhaps this Paul Arden’s book can give you a heads up about how to get things done. Or at least, how to make a start

#5 - The Rules of LOVE

[non-fic] Ever wonder why he/she seems so grumpy all the time? Or why on earth can’t you get along with the love of your life? Selalu aja ada yang salah, no matter what you do. Here’s why: sometimes loving them is not enough. You gotta understand them in order to love them. Banyak yang berpikir setelah menikah ‘tugas negara’ selesai. What if I told you that the game has actually just begun? And every game has rule(s). No worries tho. As Oprah once said, ‘’the people who love you don’t treat you badly. Love doesn’t hurt, it’s supposed to feel good.’’ Ready to be rules-players, hey lovebirds? :)

#4 - A closer understanding of Death

[non-fic] Katakanlah hanya punya waktu terbatas di dunia ini (say, another two to five years) apa yang akan dilakukan? Tapi kalau kata Forrest Gump: Life was like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get. Paul didiagnosa menderita kanker paru-paru stadium IV ketika usianya baru 36 tahun. Eventually came to this: he had to decide what to do with his limited time? From this powerful book, I’m getting a closer understanding of death and dying. I don’t usually cry over a book but this one book right here is totally an exception. Dan buku When Breath Becomes Air-nya Paul Kalanithi ini bukan cuma bikin gue head over heels, tapi juga highly recommended by Bill Gates. So whaddaya say, peeps? Let’s get to know Paul better and fall in love together

#3 - Challenging the myth: I AM SO OCD

Gue pun jadi korban. Banyak orang bilang gue OCD cuma krn gila bersih, rapih dan teratur. To-do-list is the love of my life and all of the sudden, I have an OCD? Hmmm. Contrary to popular belief, being a neat freak or an organizational maven is not necessarily make you suffer from a mental illness. OCD is not a joke. Yuk, edukasi diri lewat bukunya Dr. David Adam tentang Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. We often say things we don’t mean and our words can be insulting to others. Shall we break the stigma together, whaddaya say? :)

#2 - Social Media VS Mental Health?

Play Episode Listen Later Aug 17, 2019 36:42

The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F***. What’s important and what’s not? Penasaran se-powerful apa buku self-help ini? Katanya sih, Mark berhasil menyelamatkan banyak orang lewat tulisannya. Hmm, perhaps you should invest a little bit of your leisure and have a listen to this. Let’s learn and grow together, peeps!

#1 - What I Wish I Knew When I Was 20

Well the good news is, we can always start now. Yuk, berkembang bersama! :)
