BLACK AT CHA PRODUCTIONS

The New Year 2016 is upon us now. But will 2015 problems follow us into 2016? Many of us hope that’s not that case. Especially when it concerns the issues facing the black community. From police killings to the re-emergence of Jim Crow style subjugation. Median black wealth still finding itself in a hole compared to other races. Black unemployment still double digits and black child poverty still too high. In 2016 what should be done and what will be done to change these issues for the better? Will black people pretend that a new smiling face in the white house will solve their issues? Will black people push other black people to vote like they did in 2008 and 2012? Will black people giving 90% and more of their vote to a candidate yield the same lack luster results in terms of change you can believe in? Who knows but these issues must be addressed.

Terrorists in Oregon. How “white” militia can occupy land that isn’t theirs then threaten violence if anyone dares to step to them. But these militia thugs are nothing more than their forefather’s reincarnations. Remember when “white” guys with guns took over land that wasn’t theirs? Then threatened violence if anyone dared try and stop them. The before anyone could stop them. They gave small pox blankets to the people that were there before them. I remember. But majority “white” murica wont call them or think of them as villains. Even though this was said “The war has just begun “ - Ammon Bundy. “White” people never really think of their own as terrorists or beyond repair. That sort of thinking is regulated for anyone of darker color around the world. Take your pick. Aborigines, Africans etc.  Did we also mention that the terrorists are protesting on behalf of arsonists and poachers? Yes they want their fellow hooligans released from prison. Even though they were given a light sentence of only 5 years.

America has a long history of terrorism. But for some reason americans fear terrorism from those who are whole ocean away. For the longest time america has created its own boogeymen. Then used that trumped up fear to pass over reaching and privacy degrading laws. One such law is the NDAA. With the recent shooting in San Bernardino. Gun sales have spiked yet again. And even conceal cary classes have been filling up faster. More "white" people are grabbing their guns to fight terrorists they wont see anytime soon. But let the media tell it. The crazy muslims are plotting their next attack. Its funny how "white" americans are concerned with muslims who havent done anything. But show no concern for their own domestic terrorists. Such as Dylan roof/ruff? Or the man who just shot up a planned parent hood. But guys like that arent called terrorists. Hmmm.

Today we interview the creators of Jupiter Strong, Kelly Abel and Frank Edwards. Jupiter Strong is a childrens book with a black family. Finally we have something black children can look at and see themselves in. We keep complaining about not having anything for our children. Well now 2 black people have come together to give the rest of us what we should have ready at any minute for black children. What is it, that makes certain black people think everyone is for them? Have black people actually benefited off of thinking everyone is there friend? Why can other groups of people. Be about themselves first and foremost. But black people, the people that actually FOUGHT and DIED by the thousands to have for self. Gets told they must include everyone. After black people having included everyone in important things like the civil rights era and black panthers. And after letting everyone in. But watching the foundation for progress fall after opening the arms. Why is it that black people still to this day think they have friends?
