You asked; "What Is The Difference Between Believing In Jesus And Following Jesus?"
You submitted your questions about faith and life. First we must establish the origin of truth and what keeps us from believing the truth. God reveals Himself generally to all and specially to those whom He saves. Before we will ever believe in Him and His truth, God must remove the barrier of sin that keeps us from knowing Jesus as Savior and Lord.
Do not Grow weary of doing good works. God will reward those He saves.
Haman allowed his joy to be determined by what people thanked about him. Your significance is found in Christ.
Mordecai is great in the kingdom and growing in power. The enemies of the Jews are destroyed and peace is brought to the Jews. Jesus is a greater Mordecai. His greatness and power exceeds that of Mordecai and he brings peace now only to the Jews but even to His enemies.
Esther wins the favor of the King. The King offers to grant her request, even to half of his kingdom... What do we learn from Esther 5 and how does this point us forward to Jesus?
Mordecai uncovers a plot to kill the king. The king advances Haman. Mordecai refuses to bow down and pay homage to an enemy of God. His standing up against the empire for what is right has serious ramifications. Where is God? How does this point forward to Jesus?
Meet Mordecai and Esther. Esther WINS the favor of King Ahauseres. Jesus is the better King and he loves us not because we were attractive and winning His favor. God demonstrated His love for us while we were sinners Christ died for us.
Christians are to imitate Jesus by walking in His love, walking in His light, and walking in His wisdom.
Believers are renewed by the Spirit to live out of our new identity in Christ. This will set us apart from the world and be very different than our old nature.
God's power through Christ love is the only source for lasting change in the Christian life.
The church suffers for the good of others, for the good of ourselves and for the glory of God.
Jesus reconciles us through the cross bringing peace to all people.
By grace you have been saved by faith to a life of good works.
By faith in Christ we are hopeful, loved and empowered to live for Jesus.
You are chosen and adopted into the family of God Learn how God has blessed your past, your present and your future. He does this for the glory of Jesus Christ and the good of His Church.
Jesus is alive and He is with us. Now His church is to go and makes disciples.
Jesus silence is our salvation. The innocent takes our guilt and the church goes free.
Jesus' church readies itself for His return by placing their faith and hope in Jesus alone. The church works faithfully using their gifts to share the good news, loving one another and serving on another.
Jesus warns His church not to be alarmed about the times we live in, to not be lead astray from the mission and at all times be ready for His return.
Jesus church will be known by the fruit of their faith that leads to a changed life.
Jesus makes a way for everyone to come to Him in faith. His church responds by living a fruitful life.
