This is week one of a 7 part series called "Letters to the Church". These are Christ's letters to the first century churches and they shed light on the attributes of our coming king, a commendation to the church and finally, a warning. This week is a quick look at Revelation 1 which gives a context for the following letters.
As a church and as individual believers lets pray "your kingdom come, your will be done". This week we look at the overall view of the church. What are we known for? How does that align with the Bible?
For our entire time in Joshua we considered the idea that the promises of God are fulfilled by the promises of God. Sometimes we believe the lie that it's OUR doing that will bring His promises to fruition. We see one final time in Joshua 10 that for Joshua it was all about showing up and letting God do the work.
We have a sickness that has permeated our lives. At the root that issue is sin but one of the major expressions of that sickness is racism. It has existed almost since the beginning of time and continues to persist in America today. It's easy to see the horrifying damage of systemic racism against people of color and especially against our black brothers and sisters yet somehow every day of our lives we not only ignore it but we silently (or not so silently) advocate for it. This short message won't fix that but hopefully will help you take a small step in simply saying "this is a tragic problem that I have a responsibility to recognize and advocate for".
When Caleb was 40 years old he received a promise that one day the land he had seen would his. For 45 years he waited and finally, at the age of 85 it was time to claim his promise. What's God's call and promise on your life? How long have you waited? Are you weary in that waiting?

Join us as we wrap up our Easter series and see Peter receive his calling again (Luke 5 and John 21).
We have hope in the resurrection and this hits us at a theological, philosophical and intellectual level. But it also hit us at a personal level. As you listen put yourself in the place of Peter the close and personal friend of Jesus but when it matters Peter ran. We run a lot. We get it wrong a lot but Jesus stays, Jesus visits, Jesus reveals.
For one moment in history the crowds got it, the disciples got it, and Jesus was worshipped as Savior and King. We know what happens Friday but for this moment in time Christ is placed in his proper place. Join us as we look at Luke 19.
Sunday we looked at two different times that Jesus said "don't be afraid". The first time he silenced the storm first. The second he knew would be a longer storm. We don't need to fear in times of trial and uncertainty. We can be NOT AFRAID.
As we conclude our Fish Stories series we see that even though Jonah never seems to come to an understanding of the heart of God and his redemption story- God never gives up on Jonah. We have a loving, personal, intimate God that wants a relationship with his children!
This week we continue our study of Jonah in chapter 4:1-3. Jonah actually calls God angry for saving the people of Ninevah. Who are the people in your life that you consider beyond the reach of God...maybe you'd never actually say or even think those words but do your actions say otherwise.
The saying goes "The more we suffer the more it shows we really care". Actually the offspring said that but it reveals our mentality well. We think God wants us to suffer for him, pay penance or at least struggle. But what does God say about this? Jonah 3:1-10
Fish Stories are fun because they are grounded in truth but twisted and exaggerated enough to capture our attention. But what about the lies we believe about God? What have you experienced that has distorted your view of God. Join us as we let God speak for himself and we disprove these fish stories.
Anxiety. Let's be real. Anxiety is pretty common these days and experts say it's only going to get more prevalent. However, it's still hard to talk about and still hard to know what the Bible says about it. Ryan does a great job explaining anxiety and guiding us through scriptures that shed light on this human condition.
Sometimes we struggle. We struggle with having enough. We struggle with feeling like we have enough. Does God care? Does he know when we're hurting? Let's look at an incredible story of God's provision in 1 Kings 17 and see what the Bible says about God's provision.
If there was one thing that would take away all your relationship troubles would you want it? This week Nick Cerda takes us to scripture to find that one thing and seek to apply it to our lives and every relationship. Passages are Matthew 5:23 and Ephesians 4:1-7.
Every year the same things derail us from having a fruitful productive year. Join us as we turn to the Bible to address those 4 derailers. Week one- PURPOSE.
