Welcome to Fightonomics, where we cover everything combat sports.
WE'RE BACK!! After a small sabbatical, Fightonomics has RETURNED to cover all things combat sports! We get into why we were gone, what we have in store, and then we dive right into the good stuff. Episode 7 looks into a new era of UFC champs crowned, including UFC 236's STELLAR co-main and main events with Gastelum/Adesanya and Poirier/Holloway. TJ Dillashaw's testing positive for EPO and where that puts him in the context of the Bantamweight division, USADA's system, and punishment as a whole. In addition, we talk about miscellaneous topics such as the Darren Till controversy, the viability of Bare Knuckle FC, ESPN+ and DAZN subscriptions, Conor/Khabib social media scraps, and the upcoming UFC events/International Fight Week. Finally, we give our thoughts on our GOAT, Georges St-Pierre, his retirement earlier this year, and our favourite GSP moments. Some more projects are to be added to supplement our daily podcast, and we're hoping to get them in on a consistent basis.
