One of the all-time greatest martial artists joins the podcast! UNLEASHED is proud to welcome 37-year-old mixed martial artist TJ Dillashaw from Sonora, California. In his exclusive interview with The Dingo, Danny, and Brittney, the two-time UFC Bantamweight Champion shares the true story behind his inspiring career as a UFC icon.In the hard-charging world of MMA fighting, Tyler Jeffrey Dillashaw requires no introduction. Robert Winfree reviews the controversial judging calls from UFC 282 and all the rest of the action, plus a look ahead to the final UFC event of 2022 and news of the week.UFC 282 review (3:25)UFC on ESPN+ 74 preview (1:40:59)James Krause update (1:52:35)TJ Dillashaw retires (1:55:18)ONE set for US debut in May (2:02:44)Plugs (2:03:43)
It's almost like a broken record for us as this point but man does it suck when bad judging outshines a great night of fights! Your KOB boys are back with another great episode so let's get to it! We start things off discussing the unfortunate ending to UFC 282's main event. That fight ending in a Split Draw after one judge gave the fight to Anklaev, one to Blachowicz, and another saw it as a tie. We also discuss the aftermath of this fight that lead to Dana White annoucning that the vacant light heavy weight title will now be fought for by Glover Teixeira and Jamahal Hill in Brazil early next year. And sadly the main event wasnt the only fight on the card that ended in confusing judging, so we do a deeper dive on how judging is effecting fights and even the way some fighters might chose to fight. We add to the judging issues as we move into the next fight where Paddy Pimblett earned a decision victory that lead to some people calling it a robbery and others calling it a close fight. After that we give a run down of the rest of UFC 282, which had some amazing performances. From there we move into our picks and predictions for UFC Vegas 66 headlined by Jared Cannonier and Sean Strickland. This will be the last card of the year so we hope it ends with a bang! Finally we end the episode with some news including a continuation on the James Krause situation, TJ Dillashaw announcing his retirement, and more. Please be sure to like, comment, rate, share and subscribe.

Brendan breaks down why Suga Sean O'Malley really won the fight and Petr Yan wasn't in fact “robbed,” what Islam Makhachev's dominant submission win over Charles Oliveira says about his future as a champion and Abdulmenap Nurmagomedov's genius as a coach, why Belal Muhammed should get a title shot next after his TKO finish of Sean Brady, what's next for TJ Dillashaw after a shoulder dislocation hampered him in his TKO loss to Aljamain Sterling, why Beneil Dariush won't get a title shot after his decision win over Mateusz Gamrot, why he's more excited for Khamzat vs Colby than he is for Kamaru v Edwards 3, and previews the upcoming Jake Paul Anderson Silva fight this weekend. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We did not think it was going to go like that. Both figuratively and literally, our money was on Charles Oliveira to once again become lightweight champion at UFC 280. As it happened, Islam Makhachev was absolutely dominant, rolling to a second-round submission victory. Now, it seems the powers that be will set him up with a champ-champ fight against Alexander Volkanovski. That sucks for all the other lightweights, but you can absolutely take all our money for it. Plus, who's to blame for TJ Dillashaw showing up to fight a title fight he had absolutely no business fighting? And whether or not you thought Sean O'Malley deserved to win the decision, he kind of put it right in our faces with his performance against Petr Yan.
