Rosie Perez has spent her whole life getting back up. From a brutal childhood to an Oscar nomination, from Do the Right Thing to Birds of Prey, from AIDS activism in the Giuliani years to the front row of every big fight, she has refused to be anyone but herself. In this replay conversation, Paul sits down with the queen of boxing to talk about the Weinstein verdict as a historic reckoning, the mental game that decides heavyweight fights and presidential elections, and why so many Latino voters — Cubans, Venezuelans, Mexicans, Central and South Americans who fled dictators — refuse to embrace a candidate who won't stop flirting with the word socialist. Along the way, Rosie breaks down Tyson Fury versus Deontay Wilder like the fight analyst she actually is, tells the story of the first car she bought off a college crackhead for two hundred bucks, and gets real about her own mental health, her PTSD, and why she still refuses to shame anyone who voted the other way. She and Paul dig into how we raise our boys, what real integrity looks like when nobody's watching, and why fighting the good fight requires knowing when to rest. Despite all the noise reverberating from the negotiations between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury – noise that, unfortunately, we must address – a meaningful, and potentially pivotal, heavyweight title clash occurs this weekend when Moses Itauma duels with Filip Hrgovic. Will this be the fight when we see Itauma truly tested or, as the oddsmakers suggest, will it be another one-sided triumph for the 21-year-old? And if Itauma does indeed do what is expected and win convincingly, will he then be able to cope with the pressure of being the youngest heavyweight belt-holder since the heady days of Mike Tyson's peak? Last weekend, George Liddard aced his latest test when he became the European middleweight champion and, in the States, Teofimo Lopez was handed a get-out-of-jail-free card by Rolly Romero. We bring you an update on Ringside Charitable Trust, and you can access their website here, before hurtling back to 2013 and the night when cult hero Jhonny Gonzalez marmalized Abner Mares inside one round. After an undefeated amateur career and a perfect start to life as a professional, Itauma has quickly become one of heavyweight boxing's most exciting prospects. He made headlines with a devastating TKO of Dillian Whyte in under two minutes, and now, with a 22-0 record to his name, he's ready to take the next step — challenging Filip Hrgović for the vacant IBF heavyweight title this Saturday night, live on DAZN. In this exclusive 40-minute sit-down with Piers Morgan, Moses opens up about the praise he's received from the likes of Joe Rogan, what he hopes to achieve throughout his career, and the pressure and spotlight that come with being labelled a boxing prodigy. He also looks ahead to his huge bout on Saturday. On the week when it looks all but certain that the all-British heavyweight showdown between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will land in New York, a fight with serious consequences for the current title picture in the division – Moses Itauma and Frank Sanchez on August 29 – was upgraded to an IBF title fight. The Fury-Joshua news will no doubt make those already in a spin about the location lose their minds completely. But before we put the blame solely at the feet of Netflix and Turki Alalshikh, one crucial thing should be remembered: Nobody is forcing Joshua or Fury to fight outside of the UK. And hey, there are worse places than New York to host heavyweight boxing. In Dublin there was a contest worthy of any stage in the world as Mark Chamberlain surprised most when he defeated Pierce O'Leary in the kind of topsy-turvy thriller that should buoy us all as to why we're here. Yet, on the undercard, the fate of Lee Reeves reminds us of the violent nature of the Sport. Over in Las Vegas, meanwhile, William Zepeda proved too good for Lamont Roach. We preview the weekend's action with the sequel between Troy Williamson and Callum Simpson leading the way and Zuffa's trip to Dublin will give Aaron McKenna and Callum Walsh a chance to shine. Last, but never least, is your weekly dose of nostalgia and a time when Oscar De La Hoya – as he tears through Jorge Paez – was a fresh-faced up-and-comer yet to be scarred by this wackiest of businesses. We talk through what made it a real back-and-forth brawl, why the judging felt impossible to defend, and how one “criminal” card can change the whole story fans take away from fight night. Then we zoom out to the bigger boxing weekend: Tyson Fury's latest outing, whether he's slowing down, and why the sport can't afford to keep stalling on Fury vs Anthony Joshua. We get into AJ's early knockdowns, the confidence and theatrics that followed, and the uncomfortable reality that heavyweight timing matters more than ever when miles and damage start showing up at once.Errol Spence Jr vs Tim Tszyu becomes the clearest example of the episode's theme: activity is everything. After the performances of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury last weekend, there can now be no doubt that the two British heavyweights are both past their best. Furthermore, it is more obvious than ever before that the fight we wanted all those years ago – when they were 1 and 2 in the heavyweight division – is gone forever. So, what are we left with? Joshua remains a frightful puncher, that much is clear. But he looks so susceptible these days it's difficult to imagine him surviving any kind of onslaught from Fury. Whether Fury is these days capable of producing that onslaught, while also avoiding Joshua's right hand, when he couldn't avoid that of 46-year-old Marius Wach, likely makes the bout as well-matched as it's ever been. Don't expect either to walk away until this long and winding saga has reached a close, though. Unlike Errol Spence Jnr, who realised against Tim Tszyu that his days as a prize-fighter are over and announced his retirement in the aftermath. We look ahead to Pierce O'Leary-Mark Chamberlain in Ireland and Lamont Roach-William Zepeda in the US, before kicking back in the DeLorean, setting the flux capacitor to July 1999, and enjoying the last hurrah of Michael Carbajal against Jorge Arce. How much does Joshua have left and can he beat Tyson Fury in their grudge match? As for Fury, he won his tuneup “fight” vs. Mariusz Wach in front of a small crowd in Thailand to set up what we think will be the megafight vs. Joshua.  Errol Spence returned to the ring for the first time in three years and dropped a decision to Tim Tszyu. Spence retired after the fight. For Tszyu it was not an outstanding performance but a win in a win and he called out WBA middleweight champion Erislandy Lara afterwards. Enjoy the show!

For over a decade, boxing fans have waited for Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury to finally meet. In heavyweight boxing, 10 years is an eternity. It's the difference between your prime and your decline. Fast forward to 2026, and last weekend made one thing painfully clear: both men are in rapid decline. Neither looks capable of competing with the elite anymore. At this stage, it feels as though they're both searching for one final payday before walking away. The biggest irony? I don't think the Joshua–Fury fight happens at all.

Dan and Chris are back breaking down a busy weekend of fights from Anthony Joshua's thrilling second-round knockout and Tyson Fury's glorified sparring session to Tim Tszyu's decision win over Errol Spence Jr.  We open the show breaking down Anthony Joshua's wild knockout win over Kristian Prenga which saw him hit the canvas twice in the opening round before stopping Prenga in the second frame.

Where did our heroes go? This week we saw Anthony Joshua survive two knockdowns to beat Kristian Prenga, and Tim Tszyu defeat Errol Spence Jr in a sad summer pay-per-view. Spence retired after the main event, and Joshua will move into a fight with Tyson Fury, who also fought this weekend (and also looked awful). We talk about Stephen Fulton, the "Cool Boy," missing weight and getting his fight canceled against Liam Wilson, as cool people do. Hamzah Sheeraz looked mid against Simon Zachenhuber. Sheeraz won a vacant title, but are we starting to wonder about his potential and clear favoritism toward his career?  Also, Josh Kelly got his nose busted up, winning a 12-round decision over Caoimhin Agyarko. This week, we have one major card. DAZN in partnership with TNT Sports will return with a lightweight bout between Lamont Roach Jr and William Zepeda. In the co-feature,  Raymond Muratalla will make the first defense of his IBF lightweight title against Robson Conceicao. Other notable bouts include welterweight Raul Curiel versus Quinton Randall, junior middleweight Charles Conwell versus Paul Kroll, and middleweight Fabian Guzman versus Aaron Coley. Joel Iriarte and Dylan Capetillo are prospects featured on this card as well.0:00 Intro1:07 Josh Kelly5:30 Hamzah Sheeraz9:45 Anthony Joshua-Tyson Fury22:20 Tim Tszyu vs Errol Spence34:34 Lamont Roach Jr-William Zepeda41:00 Undercard

Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury and Errol Spence will all this weekend exhibit what is left of themselves. Even if it turns out to be very little, that should still be enough for Joshua and Fury to triumph against Kristian Prenga and Mariusz Wach respectively. If the point of those exercises is questionable then the task that awaits Spence is, by comparison, somewhat formidable. He takes on Tim Tszyu in Australia in a bout set at 160lbs. Will Spence show he still has what it takes at 36 or will he become the latest athlete to realise that time is the cruellest opponent of them all? In this episode, Lukie and (Jason) Lagendorf talk about the return of Errol Spence Jr., who faces Tim Tszyu in Australia on pay-per-view. Three years ago, this would have been massive; now it just is what it is. A solid fight, but a lot of lingering “What ifs?” Does Spence still have it? (He hasn't fought since the Terence Crawford fight)Can Tszyu absorb punishment from a high-level fighter? The answers we don't know.An undercard bout with Jermall Charlo is now off, as he couldn't obtain a visa. Stephen Fulton's official lightweight debut against Liam Wilson will serve as the co-feature, with Australian talent rounding out the rest of the card. Then, we have two high-profile names back in action.Tyson Fury will fight Mariusz Wach in Thailand. As of now, I don't think they have announced how to watch it. Also, on pay-per-view, Anthony Joshua is facing Kristian Prenga. Is it safe to say Joshua is in the unserious part of his career? The pay-per-view card is shockingly thin. WBO super middleweight champ Hamzah Sheeraz will face Simon Zachenhuber. Zachenhuber lost to Pawel August on the previous Fury fight card, but August is buried on the undercard facing Jacob Bank, the man who stopped William Scull. Make it make sense. IBF welterweight champ Josh Kelly returns against Caoimhin Agyarko, which is a good fight, and Ukrainian Olympic gold medalist Oleksandr Khyzhniak will fight. He is more Serhii Bohachuk than he is Lomachenko. Nishant Dev is always a nice treat to see on a card as well. Also, on Sunday at Zuffa Boxing, Edgar Berlanga will make his promotional debut against Steven Butler. Richardson Hitchins will face Ricardo Salas, not an easy debut, and middleweight Sergiy Derevyanchenko will open the main telecast against Jalil Hackett. The undercard is solid with Otto Wallin facing Vladyslav Sirenko, and the promotional debut of Dominique Francis. A good 50-50 fight between Arnold Gonzalez and Emiliano Moreno, and as always, featherweight Troy Nash Jr is must-see TV as he faces unbeaten Ethan Perez. This week, we saw Diego Pacheco stop Immanuwel Aleem. Now, we ask more questions… For my mailbag, I was asked if Pacheco looked different than when he fought Trevor McCumby. Lazily, I will ask Dakota. Buddy McGirt now trains Pacheco; did we see a difference? People seem divided on Pacheco – can we make sense of it all? Also on the undercard, Andy Cruz stopped Abraham Montoya in three rounds and appears headed to the junior lightweight division. Featherweight Albert Gonzalez stopped Aaron Alameda in two rounds. WOW!
