This is related to testing positive for the banned substance Meldonium days before he was scheduled to face WBA titlist Erislandy Lara in a three-belt unification fight on Dec. 6. The IBF has yet to rule. He gets to keep the belts?!  Again, WHAT are we doing here?! Also, WBC middleweight titlist Carlos Adames will make his third defense in a rescheduled bout against Austin “Ammo” Williams in the main event of a quickly scheduled Matchroom Boxing card on March 21 (DAZN) at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida.  And, finally, the IBF on Monday ordered junior welterweight titlist Richardson Hitchins to next make his mandatory defense against Lindolfo Delgado. This comes days after Hitchins' optional against Oscar Duarte was canceled when Hitchins became ill and was vomiting after breakfast on the morning of the fight. That's a BIG move, but what does it mean for his next couple of fights?Then, Vergil Ortiz has sued Golden Boy Promotions and Oscar De La Hoya on Thursday for breach of contract and interference with earnings in U.S. District Court in Nevada. Ortiz seeks that the court upholds his claim that his promotional agreement is terminated and he can make his own deal to fight Jaron "Boots" Ennis if he wants.Also, an arrest warrant issued for Gervonta Davis by Miami Gardens, Florida, police related to the alleged domestic violence incident that led to him being dropped from the Jake Paul exhibition. However, no one can find him.Next, the Mario Barrios-Ryan Garcia PPV main event officially announced for February 21st at T-Mobile Arena in Vegas. Raul Curiel defeated Jordan Panthen in a middleweight catchweight bout, Jorge Chavez outpointed "Gucci" Manny Flores in their rematch, plus observations about the undercard. We also talk about Nikita Tszyu-Michael Zerafa and the odd ending to that fight. Then, we move to this week. It is the start of Zuffa Boxing on Paramount Plus. The fight card as of now will feature junior middleweight Callum Walsh vs Carlos Ocampo, Mexican Olympian Misael Rodriguez-Austin Deanda, and Julian Rodriguez-Cain Sandoval. We preview the match-ups and we talk about what we expect from the production. That same night on DAZN, a very good bout between, Jose Tito Sanchez and Jesus Ramirez Rubio will take place at featherweight. Then, the card Lukie can't wait to see: IBF beltholder Raymond Muratalla faces Andy Cruz. It could be for who is the best in the division, given the uncertain framework of the future of the division. Other notables include the return of Israil Madrimov at middleweight, Khalil Coe vs Jesse Hart, which is a great bout, and 2024 U.S. Olympic Bronze medalist Omari Jones. Super middleweight Ronny Alvarez is a fighter to monitor on this card as well.
