Welcome back to Locked On Gators! I'm your host, Brandon Olsen, and today, we've got an exhilarating episode lined up for you. In this episode, we dive deep into the Florida Gators' impressive win over the Tennessee Volunteers, unpacking some key takeaways: First and foremost, we break down head coach Billy Napier's coaching masterpiece. Napier's strategic brilliance and game management were on full display in the victory over the Volunteers. We'll discuss how his decisions on both sides of the ball played a pivotal role in securing the win, and why this may have been his best game yet as head coach of the Florida Gators. We'll also give credit where credit is due, with a spotlight on defensive coordinator Austin Armstrong. Armstrong crafted a gameplan that stifled the potent offense of Tennessee and head coach Josh Heupel. We'll analyze his tactics, adjustments, and key moments that helped the Gators dominate defensively. Last but not least, we delve into the stellar performance of quarterback Graham Mertz. Mertz has been exceeding expectations and appears to be settling into his role with the Gators. We'll discuss his standout plays, decision-making, and how his performance bodes well for the future of the Florida Gators' offense. Whether you're a devoted Gators fan reveling in this triumph or a football enthusiast eager to dissect the intricacies of the game, this episode has you covered. Join me, Brandon Olsen, as we celebrate Billy Napier's coaching brilliance, Austin Armstrong's gameplan, and Graham Mertz's standout performance in the Florida Gators' thrilling victory over the Tennessee Volunteers. When Kate Langbroek speaks, people listen. And while they may not always agree with what she says, the longtime radio host and TV personality is determined to keep speaking with a directness she knows might well get her cancelled one day.In a characteristically candid conversation, Kate addresses the rumours she is going to reunite with former radio co-host and friend Dave Hughes; opens up about some of her more polarising moments on The Project; reflects on her decision to prioritise spending more time with family that started with her famous decision to move to Italy for a tree change; and looks back on the topless TV scene she filmed more than 30 years ago but still can't seem to live down. Oh, and she also talks about the time she was fired from Stellar by the host of this very podcast. You can find more about what Kate is up to on her Instagram account @katelangbroek.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Visa's interest in Solana is a significant development in the world of blockchain and payments. Solana is a high-performance blockchain network that can process up to 50,000 transactions per second (TPS). This makes it much faster than traditional payment networks like Visa, which can only process around 24,000 TPS. Solana is also much cheaper than traditional payment networks, with transaction fees of just a few cents.Visa's deep dive into Solana suggests that the company is seriously considering using the blockchain network for its payments processing. This could be a major boost for Solana, as it would help to legitimize the network and attract more users and developers. The move is even more interesting in light of Visa's recent exploration of Solana for its stablecoin pilot. Stablecoins are cryptocurrencies that are pegged to a fiat currency, such as the US dollar. They are often used as a way to transfer value between different blockchains or to make payments. Visa is reportedly exploring using Solana to settle its USDC stablecoin transactions. This would allow Visa to move money more quickly and cheaply than it currently does.Meanwhile, Stellar (XLM) has refreshed its branding with Idris Elba. Stellar is a blockchain network that is designed to facilitate cross-border payments. It is often seen as a competitor to Ripple (XRP), another blockchain network that is used for cross-border payments. The rebranding of Stellar with Idris Elba is a sign that the company is serious about growing its user base and expanding its reach. Idris Elba is a well-known actor and musician who has a large following on social media. His association with Stellar could help to attract new users to the network.Overall, the interest of Visa and Idris Elba in Solana and Stellar are positive developments for the blockchain industry. They suggest that these blockchain networks are seen as viable alternatives to traditional payment networks. This could lead to increased adoption of blockchain technology for payments in the future. Here are some of the reasons why Solana could be a game-changer in the payments ecosystem:Speed: Solana can process transactions much faster than traditional payment networks. This could make it a more attractive option for businesses that need to process payments quickly.Scalability: Solana is designed to be scalable, so it can be used to handle even the most demanding payment processing needs.Security: Solana is a secure blockchain network, so businesses can be confident that their transactions are safe.Cost-effectiveness: Solana is a cost-effective blockchain network, so businesses can save money on their payment processing costs. If Solana can live up to its potential, it could revolutionize the way we pay for goods and services. It could make payments faster, cheaper, and more secure. This could have a major impact on the global economy.

This weeks guest Staudt Brothers. Reminds me again why I love doing these shows. Stellar talent in Texas still to discover. Staudt Brothers, from Victoria perform elements of country, blues, folk rock and Americana. Isn't that just called “ Texas” music?! When you throw in lyrical stories that talk about break ups, the hill country and honky-tonks you've got my ear. However there's musical indulgence here that will bring a tear with no words needed. Caleb shares the journey that brought he and his brother onto the stage after watching their Dad croon through life. And we are all benefiting. Catch a show and start listening. It's tour time! We've been hyping it up for the last few months, and this episode is the last before the 2023 tour kicks off! For up to date tour instant reaction episodes, please direct to our Patreon where that content can be found - http://patreon.com/liveon4legs But let's not bury this excellent show out of Alabama! Highly regarded as one of the best sounding bootlegs of 1998, it's a great show to have available in this high of quality. Having never been to this part of the deep south before, the band puts together an inspired performance where we argue the difficulty of choosing an MVP between Ed, Mike and Matt. Stellar performances here. We'll spend some time breaking down the laser show eminating from the Porch solo, a very aggressive Immortality, Footsteps in an unusual spot played middle of the set, and a powerful Given To Fly that sounds like a 2003 or 2006 version rather than 1998. But the moment that everyone will remember from this show is the Dueling Banjos intro leading way to Corduroy. Was it a little too on the nose for the location? Sad to say that we won't be hearing from Javier this week who needed to rest before making his way to St. Paul. But we do have Patrick and Brian from Hallucinogenic Recipe who will take a glimpse into the background behind this bootleg, and the switchover from cassette to CD-R that took place in the trader circuit during this year. Todd Andrew Howard was born in 1970 in Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania, to Ronald (Ron) and Priscilla Howard. His elder brother, Jeffrey Mark (Jeff) Howard, was later the director of creative affairs for Disney, where he oversaw the production of Bambi II. He developed an interest in computers, particularly video games, at a very young age. Howard considers the 1980s role-playing video games Wizardry and Ultima III: Exodus to be inspirations for his future games.Bethesda Softworks eventually recruited Howard in 1994 as a producer. The guys run down all the positive notes coming out of Giants Camp as practice sessions and a pre-season game with the Detroit Lions are all coming up this week. Adam and Andy spotlight Darren Waller's value to the offense this season, specifically in elevating others ability to make plays against weaker defensive assignments. Jalin Hyatt, Daniel Bellinger and Darius Slayton all stand to benefit from the 6' 6" TE - but Adam sees Isaiah Hodgins as a prime candidate to see "easy success" They also note the secondary situation with the positives around Tre Hawkins, and the patience needed with Deonte Banks. Andy concludes by noting that Daniel Jones, has by national media status, quietly had an excellent camp. Now, Big Blue can confirm areas of strength as the have back to back practices with the Detroit Lions HEAR THE PODCAST: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/one-giant-podcast/id1481967999 FOLLOW THE SHOW: https://twitter.com/oneGIANTpodcast https://twitter.com/AdamArmbrecht https://twitter.com/amack214 READ ON SUBSTACK: https://substack.com/profile/19781728-adam-c-armbrecht?r=brzog&s=r&utm_campaign=profile&utm_medium=web --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/onegiantpodcast/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/onegiantpodcast/support
