Flagged is a true crime podcast hosted by best-friend-college-duo Sara Gingras & Jess Naegele. Each episode one of us tells the other a true crime story and we try to make it through without f*****g it up too much. Enjoy.
In Episode 8 of Flagged, it's Jess's turn to tell Sara her college hometown stories. Jess talks about two mysterious cases from Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania. Jess's first case is about the unsolved murder of Betsy Aardsma in 1969 that to this day has left people questioning who really killed Betsy that night in the library. Second, Jess tells the puzzling case of Cindy Song, a student who mysteriously went missing on Halloween night. Jess and Sara also discuss the Ted Bundy Tapes Netflix show because ~hint hint~ Bundy may or may not make an appearance in one of these cases. This is our longest episode, so buckle up and get ready for these two crazy Penn State Cases.
In episode 7 of Flagged, we introduce a new two-part series: College Hometowns! This week, Sara shares 2 cases from the North Philly / Temple University area, and shit gets real. One case is a seemingly random roadside kidnapping, and the other is Philadelphia's largest-ever mass shooting. Jess and Sara talk about fried rice, supply and demand graphs for drugs, and open-concept crack houses ... we don't know, either.
This week on Flagged, Jess tells Sara the story of Alton Coleman and Debra Brown, a serial killer couple who tormented the midwest with their spree of crimes. Jess and Sara finally figured out how to record Flagged from across the state...over FaceTime! Classy.
In Episode 5 of Flagged, Sara tells Jess the disturbing murders and crimes committed by the real life Buffalo Bill, Gary Heidnik. Gary was truly an evil dude. He was the basis of the Buffalo Bill character from the book and movie Silence of the Lambs.
In episode 4, Jess tells Sara the case of missing person, Brandon Lawson. In August of 2013, Lawson left his house after an argument with his wife. After strange circumstances, phone calls, and the craziest 911 call, it's hard to decipher what REALLY happened to Brandon Lawson on the night he disappeared. In episode 3, Sara tells Jess the unbelievable story of Katherine Knight's life. Butcher knives, frying pans, and decapitations - oh my! This Australian asshole's story is a truly disturbing one, listen for yourself. Find us @flaggedpodcast on Instagram and on Soundcloud, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.
In episode 2 of Flagged, Jess tells Sara and special guest, Alyssa, about the disappearance and murder of 16-year-old Molly Bish. Molly went missing in 2000, and now, 18 years later, her story is continuing to unfold in the most mysterious ways.
In episode 1 of Flagged, Sara tells Jess the story of the missing person case of Amy Lynn Bradley. Amy Lynn went missing on a cruise in March of 1998 and more than 20 years later, investigators are still puzzled by her unusual disappearance.
