He was camping in an area known as the rock pit alongside US Route 1 on Grassy Key, a limestone quarry site used by campers and party-goers alike. While there, though, he was approached by a man he later described as a "hippie-type," who offered to show him a decomposing human body for a quarter. The camper declined and called the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.On December 30th, Detective Richard Roth was dispatched to investigate. Following the camper's directions, he makes his way into the heavily wooded area near the rock pit. Corinne Elaine Perry went missing on April 17, 1983, after leaving her home in Creston, Iowa, to do laundry. Her car was found abandoned at the local laundromat the next day with her neatly folded clothes inside; over a year later, on November 3, 1984, her remains were discovered in a shallow grave near a creek south of Creston, and her murder remains unsolved to this day. Most yoga twists are done to the spine — not with it. In nearly every conventional yoga twist, the arms and legs do the work: The hand presses against the knee. The elbow hooks outside the thigh. The leverage of the limbs produces the rotation, while the spinal muscles — the obliques, the multifidus, the deep rotators — remain largely passive. The spine is being twisted. It is not doing the twisting. I turn this on its head in this week's solocast.
