Download from the App Store or Google Play, today!***While most people were celebrating Valentine's day with the one they love, forty-one year old Maureen Fields was scared for her life. Throughout her day at work, she told multiple co-workers and customers that she was afraid something bad would happen, and if it did, her husband, Paul, would be responsible. Less than twenty-four hours later Maureen mysteriously vanished. Her car was found abandoned in the desert near Death Valley. A series of confusing pieces of evidence left investigators to wonder if perhaps her husband had made true on her words of warning. Focusing in on Paul, the investigation struggled to accumulate enough to file charges. Then, after six long years, detectives got a hit on DNA found inside Maureen's car. To their surprise, it did not belong to her husband but to a convicted sex offender who made frequent trips to Maureen's town. Was this truly a random crime with no involvement from her husband or was there a connection between Paul Fields and Keith Wayne Holmes?FB: https://www.facebook.com/TraceEvidencePod/IG: https://www.instagram.com/traceevidencepod/TW: https://twitter.com/TraceEvPodVisit https://www.trace-evidence.com for more information, case photos, contact information and more.Merch: https://traceevidence.threadless.com/ Music Courtesy of: "Lost Time" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

This week, in Skamania, Washington, where a bloodbath is discovered, in a local home, on New Year's Day. There are several bodies, and several loose ends, including a missing teenager, and a sick grandpa, who is incapable of speech, and can't be relied upon as a witness. The scene is horrific, with the walls, bathed in blood, but the crime scene, and everything else in this case, are handled terribly, possibly because it was literally the Sheriff's first day on the job! Missing evidence, botched tests... So, was it a stranger, or a teen, murdering his whole family & committing necrophillia on his big sister? Either way, there are no good answers here! Along the way, we find out that Washington takes it's timber very seriously, that some people who don't have any friends, also have an awful lot of friends, and your first day on any job shouldn't include finding three dead bodies!! Marjorie Jackson was a multi-millionaire who didn't trust banks. So, when she discovered that a high ranking bank employee had stolen from her, she took action. Over the course of four months, she showed up at the bank with a suitcase or a couple of grocery bags and made massive cash withdrawals. She took out millions of dollars and hid the money in her modest Indianapolis home. People worried about Marjorie. It didn't seem safe for a 66-year-old woman to live alone, surrounded by millions of dollars in cash. It wasn't. Then Brandi tells us about a pair of newlyweds whose honeymoon ended in murder. Anni Hindocha and Shrien Dewani were a beautiful couple. They married at Lake Powai near Mumbai, India, and afterward, went on a whirlwind honeymoon to South Africa. They started their trip with a few nights at Kruger National Park, followed by a trip to Cape Town. Once they got there, they met a driver named Zola Tongo. He told the couple he'd be their tour guide. On the ride back from dinner one night, two men hijacked the car. And now for a note about our process. For each episode, Kristin reads a bunch of articles, then spits them back out in her very limited vocabulary. Brandi copies and pastes from the best sources on the web. And sometimes Wikipedia. (No shade, Wikipedia. We love you.) We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the real experts who covered these cases. In this episode, Kristin pulled from: “Notorious 92: Indiana's Most Heinous Murders in all 92 counties,” by Andrew E Stoner “Banker testifies in heiress' murder,” by Kristie Hill for the Associated Press “Alleged bandit gang activities taken up,” The Indianapolis News, November 30, 1931 “F. I'm probably not the first person to tell you this, but the past two years have been ROUGH. Remember when we all thought quarantine life would be, like, two weeks of hanging out at home and conserving toilet paper? Those were the days. This episode's guest is all too familiar with tough times and tragedy — and she's finding joy through laughter. Kelsey Chittick is a writer, comedian, and podcast host whose husband—NFL Super Bowl champion Nate Hobgood-Chittick—died suddenly in front of their kids in a way that was, in Kelsey's own words, “ridiculous.” She's channeling her story of endings and beginnings into Second Half: Surviving Loss and Finding Magic in the Missing, a story that shows how change can break and heal your heart all at once.

*Missing the Point: KGOV guest host Doug McBurney takes note that while “conservatives” criticize Pete Buttigieg for his paternity leave during the supply chain melt down, they fail to condemn his gross sexual immorality & child abuse. *Validating Insanity: When Texas became the 8th state to pass a law ostensibly designed to keep the boys off the girl's basketball team, what they ended up doing was codifying the insane notion that birth gender might somehow differ from a person's sex. *Queer of Steal: PJ Media might not care if the morality play of Superman is stolen & turned into a immorality play. But we do! *Reason 1,216: to get or keep your kids out of the government schools: social workers and teachers will lie to you about, (while contributing to the corruption of) your child's mental health. *Dad's Awake Now: We go to Loudoun County Virginia where the school board covered up the rape of a girl at school, and the parents are beginning to notice that there seems to be a problem with government education. *Ambush: A Houston deputy was murdered in a parking lot, where his blood flowed along with the blood of the millions murdered in our neighborhoods.

Our New TRUE CRIME PODCAST: #FindingLilah: Episode 1 Our dear, beloved Lilah, a beacon of the Pod Awful Cult, has been missing for over a month. Thanks to the backlash against "Missing White Woman Syndrome" in the media, Lilah's friends and family have had an incredibly tough time getting any media to cover her story. Thanks to the true crime podcast "Missing 411" hosted by Samantha Saran and Laura Craftbay-Oneta, her story is finally being told. In an effort to signal boost this case, I've begun my own true crime podcast about Lilah's VANISHING. Particularly focusing in on her boyfriend, friend of the show and incel gamer, Ruphio Pheonix. We have a trove of recordings and text messages between the on-again, off-again lovers that may lead to a clue in her disappearance. Last Lilah was seen, she was headed for Waterville, Maine to be with Ruphio, on the condition that Ruphio got VACCINATED FOR PUSSY. Join us on this journey and help us find our friend. IF YOU HAVE ANY TIPS OR INFORMATION, PLEASE CALL 480-382-9385. THANK YOU. Want to see the reaction to Lilah's disappearance on Reddit, and discover the MOLE amidst the Pod Awful Cult? In this episode, Dr. Martone opens the show by revealing how fixing his sleep position completely changed his life and relieved him of his back pain. There's a study out there that claims sleeping on your side is the best position. However, Dr. Martone explains what's wrong with that study and why sleeping on your back is the way to go. Also, Dr. Martone reveals what's happening to your body when you sleep in the wrong position and how you can start to fix that. Tune in as we chat all about the Neck Nest, heart rate variability, and why you should never wear socks to bed. He attributed it to working out a lot and being super active. Eventually, Dr. Martone ended up in the emergency room with a herniated disc. After looking at thousands of x-rays, Dr. Martone can tell what position people sleep in. Martone realized that his back pain was a result of his sleep posture. In the spine, you're supposed to have a curve in your neck. If you're using a pillow in the wrong position, then it can flatten the curve. [08:00] Is It True That The Best Sleep Position Is On Your Side? The best sleeping position is on your back. There's a study that shows side sleeping is best for lymphatic drainage. When you're horizontal, your body actually heals at night. Lymphatic drainage will detoxify the neural tissue in the body. The nervous system is the most important system of the human body; your spine protects that nervous system. So, we should be focusing on our spinal structure when sleeping. [12:45] Wolff's Law and Davis's Law Will Determine How Your Body Adapts If you constantly stress the tissue, the body will adapt by building more tissue. Wolff's Law states that if you don't use it, then you lose it. If you sit in a chair all day long, your brain will atrophy. Davis's Law states that the tissue will remold itself based on the stresses you're putting on it. You can mold your body based on what your tissues are exposed to. If you're constantly in one position all day long, then you will lose the cervical curve in your neck. [15:15] These Common Symptoms Means Your Sleeping Posture Is Incorrect If your spine is damaged, it can cause serious side effects. Spine damage can alter your: Ability to lose weight Digestion Ability to take a deep breath Your sleep position can suppress your immune system, digestive system, and reproductive system. If you have autoimmune issues, breathing issues, or chronic digestion issues, then you should take a hard look at your sleeping position. [25:10] Heart Rate Variability (HRV) Has A Strong Connection To Your Sleep So your body has two systems, you have your thrive systems, and then survival systems. The thrive systems include reproductive, digestive, and immune. Your survival systems are engaged to keep you alive. These include your body temperature, your skeletal system, and your cardiovascular system. Your body is growing, healing, and nurturing at night. Your heart rate is very irregular at night. The HRV is an algorithm that measures the variability of the heart and can give you a score. The more variable your heartbeat is, in general, the healthier you are. You want a higher HRV. [30:10] Sleep With Your Arms and Your Legs Uncovered – Dr. Martone Explains Why The core temperature of your body needs to cool very rapidly in order to get really good deep sleep. You don't want to have your hands and your feet under the covers. Your body only cares about the core temperature; it does not care about your hands and your feet. Don't wear socks to bed! [35:10] All About The Neck Nest and How It Can Help You Sleep Better At Night The Neck Nest is designed to hug your neck. When you purchase the Neck Nest, there's a period where you need to break it in. The neck nest is designed to be sleep support for your neck, not your head. You can use the Neck Nest every night for relief from muscle tension and stiffness, headache, back, and neck pain. It cradles your neck while keeping the shoulders, head, and spine perfectly aligned. Learn more about the Neck Nest: https://necknest.com/ketokamp/. [43:20] Changing Nothing But Your Sleep Position, Or Posture Will Increase Heart Rate Variability By 30% Changing your sleep position alone and getting a good deep quality sleep will improve your HRV by about 30%. It depends on how long your body will take to get used to being on your back. It can take anywhere between two or three months for your HRV to adjust. AND MUCH MORE! Then, we'll examine how a new investigation might shed light a forty year old abduction where neither the victim nor her abductor have ever been found. Looking back at one of the early cases covered, we'll go into Canada to examine the status of an investigation where officials are finally beginning to reveal some of the vital details they've kept under wraps for a decade.
