It's the king of Hollywood, America's dad, and one of two famous people to come out of Concord, CA (along with Eddie, of course!): TOM HANKS is the Highbrow/Lowbrow flavor of the week. We discuss his acting, directing AND writing prowess through two of his most memorable projects: his first Oscar-winning role in PHILADELPHIA (1993) and his musical passion project THAT THING YOU DO (1996).

For this episode, we deep dive into the incredibly talented & captivating Kate Hudson, and two of her films: the hilarious & heartwarming Bride Wars (2009), and her Oscar-nominated role in the classic, Almost Famous (2000).
