Jesus came for you to have a life that you love and to help you love the life that you have. Jesus came for you to have a 5 Star Life, but maybe it’s the areas in our lives that we should be going first and aren’t; that are keeping us from the abundant life. 5 Stars signifies something better. That's what we are talking about in this series. How to live the life, the better life, God has for you.

What is God stirring in you? Is He asking you to be more grateful, more giving, more generous, or more grounded? Today, we have a step to take and a move to make.

5 Stars is how we differentiate, quickly, between poor and decent. Between average, good, and best. Most of us would agree that there are aspects of our lives that we would say keep us from living a Five-Star Life. Jesus is very clear though, that He came for us to have abundant life, or a life that’s more than just 1 Star!

Life isn’t about what you make, who you know, or what you do. Life is all about love - loving God and loving others. Love is how we help others encounter God.

Gratitude is how we invite God in. We’ve looked at encountering God, but in part 3 of Encounter, we want to give you a very practical way to encounter God. We have to invite Him in. We have to let Him know that we want Him here. How do we let God know we want His attention or that we want Him there? Gratitude gets God’s attention.

As we continue our story from last week; we see Moses is a man that teaches us a lot about encountering God and praying. We started this series last week looking at Moses.

God does something great in us, when we encounter Him. You can’t meet God without being changed. God's constantly changing us into the best version of ourselves, the person He created us to be. He wants to redeem our past and our mistakes and do something great in us.

Sometimes our steps change the course of history… and sometimes they simply change the course of our lives. To start a movement it takes a step.

Any ounce of devotion, love, or sacrifice we make; is because we learn from Jesus. We learn how to truly love our spouse, our kids, our coworkers, our neighbors, our enemies, and even ourselves… because Jesus first loved us. That's the movement Jesus began and now we are given the keys to continue!

There's nothing like being tossed the keys and that's what Jesus does for us. He didn't just toss keys at us He tossed purpose to every situation and aspect of our lives. Jesus comes to earth, He starts a movement… then He tosses the keys to you and I. Actually, He first tosses it to 11 of His disciples. It was this MOMENT that started a MOVEMENT.

Joy follows the leader and the leader is the choices we make. In the Bible the ultimate leader, Jesus, made some choices that we should follow. Let's take a look at them together.

If joy is a choice, then it is more often about our posture than our position. It's about focusing on what instead of why.
Welcome to our third Digital Preview! We've been discussing how God uses the wilderness or waiting seasons to develop us, and that God never wastes a wilderness. God uses the hard and hidden seasons to grow us. Spiritual maturity is formed in obscurity. We grow spiritually in the mundane of life. We have to grow right where we are and right where God has us planted.
In our first Digital Preview we talked about this idea that coming out of quarantine is like coming out of a wilderness or waiting season. These seasons have a way of teaching us things! What we learn in the waiting is often times more important than what we are waiting for.
Quarantine may be over, but some of you find yourself in a different wilderness. You may have felt unseen in quarantine and now things are reopening and you still feel unseen. But hiddenness is the birthplace of greatness. Your wilderness is God birthing greatness in you!
We tend to live for things in our life rather than from a place of being loved. The one thing though, that we can all live from, is the love of God. What does a life lived from the fullness that comes from God look like?
This Easter and during Quarantine, what is God shifting in your perspective? Sometimes it's the things of discomfort and pain that bring about the greatest beauty in our lives.
This week, Pastor Jordan had the opportunity to speak at Mission Grove Church in Phoenix, AZ. In Matthew, it says "you are the light of the world..." but how do we actually BE the light? One way is how we love each other; Jesus wants us to create irresistible community."

This week, Pastor Jordan had the opportunity to speak at Wellspring Church in Goodyear, AZ. He asks the question: “What is God doing in your waiting?” and reminds us that when we wait; we don't wait alone.
