I had a blast at the For the Love of God Brunch, hosted by Desiree Brown and I! I had the honor of speaking on the topic “God First.” This message aligns deeply with my book, God First, which is truly for everyone. I want to share a quick story — I have a cousin who told me she read my book, Walk With Me, and was waiting to talk with me before reading God First. She said, “I know you're a Christian, and I know your heart — you love others. Is the book for everyone?” I told her yes, and encouraged her to read it, and then we would chat. A few months later, we spoke again, and she said, “I read the book, and now I understand — it truly is for everyone.” Always remember to keep the faith and keep going! Thank you all for your continued support — I truly appreciate each of you!

It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the Oilers' post-Olympic return, Connor McDavid's latest 100-point season, the NHL Trade Deadline, line combinations, trade targets, and more.We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about whether Thursday's 8-1 win over L.A. helped everyone get over the 6-5 loss to the Ducks the night before. Aside from Rick feeling fine about both results, the rest of the boys were notably upset about the blown opportunity against Anaheim. That said, the Oilers are so inconsistent right now that it's hard to imagine how back-to-back games could end so differently. Shifting gears, the guys looked at Tristan Jarry's struggles between the pipes and how his first couple of months as an Oiler have been anything but uplifting. That led to a conversation about how Kris Knoblauch should handle his goaltending rotation. Should the Oilers lean on Connor Ingram in the short term as the starter while Jarry works his way back up to form? We also ran through some of the Edmonton-related rumours heading into the trade deadline and whether any names tied to the Oilers might make sense. Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of Ask the Idiots, betting talk for our friends at bet365, and Hot and Cold Performers to look back on the week that was. With the 2025-26 season entering the stretch drive, the guys spent the bulk of the podcast moving through a range of topics, some related to the Oilers and others not, but that's the way things go on the Friday episode of ONR.00:00: Start3:00: delicious debate5:30: I didn't get too down/didn't get too up7:00: Jarry hasn't been good since injury 9:00: new team post olympics11:30: Jarry pull14:00 How do you treat the goalies21:00 Oilers got depth scoring22:45: Mang looks better26:30: Tenable 31:00: Rico needs to be better38:30 What to do with Nurse47:00 Betting talk51:00 ask the idiots52:00: favourite show as a child55:45: boldest TDL take57:00: Coffeys Focus48:30: ONR impersonation's1:00:00 Hot/Cold performers SHOUTOUT TO OUR SPONSORS!!

The best mix of great music and some fab tunes to ease you up to lunchtime
Introduction“A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle.” — Irina Dunn, 1970I heard about the movement of decentering men on TikTok. With zero expectations, I decided to try it out for a month. It was October 2025. I was sick of dating apps and about to publish my second book. I'd been single for three years, but this was something different. I'm here to tell you everything about it and share all the reasons why I'm never going back.I wrote this article to give us, women, a blueprint for how to be the main character in our own lives. Our mothers and grandmothers couldn't teach us this; they depended on men (financially) to survive, and had to center them accordingly. This article is not about hating men; it's about unlearning the ways that the patriarchy has trained us to prioritize making men happy. This pressure comes just as much from the women in our lives (aunties, influencers, our mother), as from men. After all, it was my mother who let my brother get away with never doing the dishes after dinner.Starting this process for the first time scared me. I was worried that if I stopped trying to date men, I was giving up on my dream of becoming a mother. Yet as I began to decenter men, I realized that my idea of motherhood was purely a fantasy. Facing the reality of motherhood, those statistics scared me much more. In this article, I will cover everything I've learned from the internet, economists, and my own experience, so that you can decide whether decentering men and trying it for a month to start is right for you. Let's begin!

Thursday afternoon means a fresh episode of Real Life was recorded and edited, and it's ready to help you wrap up the week. On today's podcast, the guys discussed the winter games, Team Canada in the semi-finals, and more. The guys kicked off the Thursday episode of Real Life with a conversation about the winter games, as Tyler kicked off the podcast by admitting he's watching the curling semi-final as Canada works to punch their way to the final. Chalmers, however, hasn't been able to get into the games outside men's hockey, and it was a fascinating change of pace for the guy who even downloaded an app to find out what time things were showing.Changing gears, the conversation turned to Team Canada's quarter-final win over Czechia and how remarkable it was that no one noticed the Czechs had 6+ players on the ice for that third goal. While it was definitely a mistake by the officiating crew, it was also baffling how none of the Canadian players or coaches noticed and called it out. They also discussed what Canada needs to improve on as they face Team Finland in the semis on Friday morning. Finally, the guys wrapped up the podcast with the Thursday episode of Real Life with a run of topics, starting with what everyone's plans are for the rest of the men's hockey tournament, including the events schedule for the next couple of games. They also discussed the upcoming Brunch for Ben that's happening at the end of February, and this is an event that you absolutely want to be at. From there, the show really devolved into nonsense, as the guys decided to the to tell old stories about peeing their pants. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
